Absolutely gorgeous A little walk to get to them but well rewarded. A must see for anyone out that or even a camping holiday as they have camp sites on the trails . This was my first time and O.M.G. I am coming back to stay again . The little town near by was pumping with food and things to see (Kenilworth) a fantastic little but full of life town Highly recommended for the falls for the whole family or a romantic outing for your loved one . πŸ’•πŸ‘πŸ’•πŸ‘πŸ’•πŸ‘πŸ’•πŸ‘πŸ’•πŸ‘πŸ’•πŸ‘

Only a short 1.2km walk to the Falls! Don't be tricked into the small waterfall and rock pools that you come across first. Keep walking and you will find the proper falls. Really cold, fresh water awaits at the falls! You can climb the falls and sit in the small pool or let the water rush around you. There is a big body of water where you can swim and relax. Get it quick though... more people means less chance to have the waterfall to yourself 😊

Great spot for a few days away, even better mid week. My partner and I set up at camp 4 on the Thursday and there was o ly 3 other groups where we had the creek pretty much to ourself but by Saturday 10am you couldn't even get a spot to sit near the water... beautiful place though and beautiful swimming when it's not over loaded.

Beware of imitation photos on the web. The true look and the feel of the place is less than impressive. Granted we have had storms and significant rainfall but maybe it's the demographic visiting that take away from the natural wonder this could be. Highly recommend going during the working week early morning before the noisy 4wds turn up churning up the dust on the road, not to mention the noise polution. Even having a sit down for lunch at camp site 4 was met with "locals" loitering about with car stereos going. On the plus side, it's a nice place to drive through if it's quite. Make the extra effort to maybe do the Boolumba road circuit past the falls! Kelliworth bakery and cheese factory is a must to pickup some great treats for lunch before entering into the...
