Beware of imitation photos on the web. The true look and the feel of the place is less than impressive. Granted we have had storms and significant rainfall but maybe it's the demographic visiting that take away from the natural wonder this could be. Highly recommend going during the working week early morning before the noisy 4wds turn up churning up the dust on the road, not to mention the noise polution. Even having a sit down for lunch at camp site 4 was met with "locals" loitering about with car stereos going. On the plus side, it's a nice place to drive through if it's quite. Β Β Β Read moreOnly a short 1.2km walk to the Falls! Don't be tricked into the small waterfall and rock pools that you come across first. Keep walking and you will find the proper falls. Really cold, fresh water awaits at the falls! You can climb the falls and sit in the small pool or let the water rush around you. There is a big body of water where you can swim and relax. Get it quick though... more people means less chance to have the waterfall...
