Very scenic and peaceful. It was a bit overcast with drizzling rain when we went but the water was warm. We walked upstream to find waterholes that are suitable for our family. We have a 4-yo boy. We all swam and had fun! Saw a few people jumping off the rocks beside the falls despite the signs saying it's dangerous, people have died there and there's possibility of flash flood, basically advising everyone not to swim. Updated: Since our last visit, there were 2 fatal accidents leading to at least 2 deaths by vistors who swam in the falls. The warning signs are serious. Pls be very careful

Wappa Falls is an okay spot to visit, but be cautious if you plan to swim here. It's important to be mindful of the current, which can be unpredictable and strong at times. While the falls are scenic and inviting, safety should always come first. It might be a better option to enjoy the view from a safe distance or dip your toes in calm waters. Exercise caution and have a wonderful time appreciating the beauty of Wappa Falls from a secure spot!

Wappa Falls, Kiamba, QLD Wappa Falls is located about 40mins south of Noosa and is located right next to the carpark (no phone reception). There was plenty of water the day we went, so the view was spectacular. I don’t think it’s a good swimming spot, but nice to view the falls. We went on our way to Montville. #WappaFalls #Noosa #Montville

Fabulous watering hole and scenic photographic location. Super easy access with a 20 mt walk from carpark to the top of the falls. Ample watering holes, the falls and rock pools to play in. Downstream from Wappa Dam - which is able to be seen and explored by taking a short, beautiful walk. A perfect picnic location with plenty of shade and rockbanks to rest on. A beautiful, tranquil slice of paradise in the backyard of the Coast's Hinterland. Located between Nambour and Yandina and only 25 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport and...

One of the many falls around the Coast hinterland, Wappa Falls is worth checking out if you've not gone there yet! While not the most amazing falls on the coast, the ease of access to the falls themselves make this a great spot if you don't want to walk. Unfortunately, the amount of parking available leaves a lot to be desired!

There's a short walking track up to the dam itself as well as a picnic area and the falls themselves - all within a very short walking distance. This place can be very dangerous after rain however, so...
