Newly renovated playground. The council took in community feedback and the end result is fantastic. There's quite a bit to do for kids of all ages now. There's even a concrete path from the car park to the playground.

The down side is the toilet facility is still from more than a decade ago and washing hands is a challenge with a trickle of water coming from a tiny spout, not to mention it's located too high for the toddlers that come to this playground to reach. Additionally I had hoped to see more picnic tables and bbq stations. Finally, because it's a beautiful new playground in a beautiful setting, the playground has been swarming with people as of late. Not my preference with 5-11 year olds not being vaccinated. I'd also like to see a coffee shop or mobile coffee shop here one day to get 5 stars. If you're desperate for coffee you can get uber eat from Cafe 2232 ( coffee shop from...

I parked at the end of Coolgardie Place to do the Burnum Burnum Sanctuary loop bushwalk. Take the first left at the electricity tower and you'll end up with views of Woronora Bridge and around the bend, Woronora River. Path can be over rocks along the cliff edge, so be wary not to slip. There are no facilities here at all, but you can find toilets, BBQ areas and a great children's playground at the boat ramp a...

A hidden gem located underneath the Woronora River Bridge, a very family friendly park. It has plenty of shade as well as covered park benches spread out all over the park. We brought our own portable gazebo which helps out. Parking can fill up quickly as the park has a boat ramp and is quite popular with the maritime crowd. Overall a very positive experience...

The Hobbit Hounds (rescued greyhound owners group) meet up every Sunday to walk our gorgeous dogs through the park. This is a very family friendly park with lots of things for the kids and adults to do sitting on the Woronora River. There are tracks from the playground up into the sanctuary for a lovely easy bush walk.

A very nice reserve with so much to do. A lot of walks to do and dogs are allowed on a leash. There are kids play areas here with great ammenities here. Nice clean toilets and wash areas here. A nice river with ducks and other native birds in the area. There are a lot of areas to go for a swim and relax.
