Yesterday my partner and I went to the Georges river national park boat ramp, we launched our small boat and had a lovely couple of hours on the water, when we returned to the boat ramp, it was total chaos. There were at least 100 jet skis, zooming up and down in front of the small wharf where boat are supposed to tie up, causing waves and splashing people as they pulled off at high speed, that were battering the two boats there, one was mine, causing my partner to be almost knocked off of the boat into the water, luckily that didn't happen, i was able to catch him, otherwise he would have been crushed between the boat and wharf.  The lights on my boat  were smashed as it impacted against the wharf due to the waves caused by reckless idiots There was a total lack of consideration of people  and property.

I'm not a party pooper by any means, but when behaviour may cause injury, then I'm not a fan. In the two hours we were out on the water, most of the jet skis paid NO attention to the speed limits of 4 and 8 knots in no wake zones, they were going full throttle. Do the rules NOT apply to them?

Needless to say, this spoiled the whole day for us and the other family with their boat... We will NOT be going back there, as it's chaotic and full of  lawless hooligans.

I will also be reporting this to the marine police in the hope that something can be done before someone is seriously hurt or killed, because yesterday was a disaster...

I like how the boat wharves have been upgraded. 3 downfalls - as it's a national park you have to pay a park fee wether you stay or just enter then exit. Make sure y ou have plenty of 1 & 2 dollar coins. If you drop any coins while putting in the machine they drop into the case around the ticket machine & you can't get them. The jet skis are a real pain especially when trying to bring your boat back in. There doesn't seem to be any rules for them so they deliberately get in the way, spray the boat or worse still they rush at the boat like they're going to hit it. Don't bother with this park if you have a boat. Best to...

This National Park is the perfect place to just simply relax and get away from the hustles, that is well within reach! There are many places to park, many spots to relax, there are BBQ stations that you can use, restrooms are accessible in portions along the National Park, and lots of nice spots to walk along. The place is very tranquil, and is perfect spot for a day out for families or friends! If that's not all, there is also another part of the park that you can visit that is just on the other side, called the Fitzpatrick Park, also a place to check out.

The perfect setting for a memorable day of outdoor fun and relaxation. With its breathtaking scenery and excellent facilities, it's the ideal destination for a one-day picnic getaway with family and friends. Ample picnic tables and benches are scattered throughout the area, providing plenty of space for groups of all sizes. Clean restroom facilities and designated barbecue areas are also available for added convenience. Note: The place will close around 6:30 or max 7:30 P.m.
