Stunning place to visit! The rock formations are really pretty and offer excellent photo opportunities for anyone. The fact it's immediately next to some other tracks allow for some flexibility in either warming up for the hike or just switching things up. There are two pools where people can swim, there's the back-pool behind the artificial waterfall which is pretty kid friendly but there are some awkward rock formations lending to some uncomfortable footing especially toward the waterfall-dam structure. Also, the main pool area is pretty hard to access, because you need to walk really far around in order to get a safe entry point. Even then, it's still not easy to access but definitely possible although you need a little bit of strength to get out. Further, although it is possible to jump in the main rock area, I wouldn't encourage it as the water is pretty deep at around 4 - 5m with absolutely zero visibility. I haven't personally found any currents but exercise caution nonetheless. Of course, many people have mentioned this already but be aware of the walk up and down. It's incredibly steep with loose sandstone rocks meaning the entire path is a slip hazard so be very careful on the way down unless you want an injury. The bright side to the path is that it's very obvious and quite wide so there's no way you'd get lost. I personally wouldn't recommend children here as the path is too steep and exhausting for them but that's my own suggestion. Definitely check it out!

It's quite a decent walk down. My younger son had to be careful of the steep trail both on the way there and back. Good exercise, calm and peaceful pool. My 2 sons and I were the only ones there. Another group of people came when we were leaving. There was a waterfall that fell into a nice pool at the bottom. There were a few wrens and honey-eaters we saw on the way to the pool, near the start of the trail. The waterfall was a bit underwhelming, as it was short. And we've seen bigger ones like Fitzroy Falls, Carrington Falls, Katoomba Falls and Wentworth Falls. But it ls good to be able to experience this waterfall and its trail.

Beautiful and peaceful spot. Can be hard to get here as the track is very steep down/uphill. Bring a hiking pole to balance. It's worth the hike especially in Spring with abundance of wildflowers! Just take your thrash with you

We got here early and didn't see a soul until our walk back. The track down is very uneven so best to wear good shoes. The track isn't long but getting there is all downhill and a steepish walk back to the top. The area is beautiful and quite peaceful to sit and take it all in. Worth a visit atleast once. The track from the top also leads off to other walks. If you have time to walk and visit mirvena pools I...
