This park us excellent with a barbeque area and a large park area for the kids to run around. There is not only a kids playground at the furthest end of the park but there is also access to the water. There is access to warraroon reserve walk and an outdoor shower and a seating area next to the water for fishing and kayaking. The only drawback is the toilet next to the carpark which is decent but not regularly cleaned. Bring toilet paper...

Came here for a dog date! The park is small but you can let your dog off leash, so our dogs loved it here! It was a pretty quiet park, but had picnic tables, bbq facilities and a kids playground. I think there was also a walking track towards the water, but I didn’t go down there so I’m not sure.

There are multiple options for parking, both on the street and also in the small...

This park has a lot of bushland, with a path going down to the mangrove waterfront. There's a larger open grass area with a bit of an incline, and a small playground with swings, a slide, and a few other pieces. the centrepiece of the park is a wooden platform with a few tables and benches, idea for...

📍 Tambourine Bay Park – Track 8 & 9 🥾 Easy-to-moderate 2.2km bushland loop through lush bushland areas 💧 Trickling creeks, mossy rock walls + peaceful water views over Tambourine Bay 🌿 Shady forest canopy + native wildflowers 🐾 Mix of designated on-leash and off-leash areas = The park features a grassy open space for dogs to roam freely 🪨 Uneven natural tracks and a few stairs - good walking shoes highly recommended 🌊 Coastal breezes + bush vibes just minutes from the city = hidden gem feels 🍴 BBQs, benches, bathrooms + a playground nearby for post-walk hangs Track 8 loop winds back to a grassy off-leash area where the pups could stretch out and explore freely. ⚠️ Heads up: Swimming wasn’t on the cards this time — the shoreline was lined with oyster beds/shells which could’ve cut soft paws, so we played it safe and admired the view instead. 🪿 Goose Verdict: A laid-back local adventure with big bush energy. Loved the combo of shaded trails, water views + the freedom to sniff and explore in off-leash zones. Perfect for a relaxed weekend wander (just skip the swim unless you’ve scouted a safe entry point!). Set on expansive grounds in the leafy Lane Cove River area, it's hard to believe that a school can cover so much real estate. I find it difficult to understand how the students could learn anything with a plane flying over every 5 minutes or so. Also, a school with it's own observatory
