I want to write a much more detailed review than the one I am about to write, but basically we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony and reception venue. Tobruk's staff are warm, friendly, good-humoured, but also extremely proactive and attentive. We were so pleased with their service - everything flowed beautifully, like serendipity had kissed the day - and we trusted them from the moment we met them. I couldn't recommend them more highly for any bride and groom wishing to have one of the most special days of their lives in a rustic country setting with beautiful people, surreal landscapes, great food, nice set up, exceptional value for money... the list goes on. Despite the heat they made sure we had the most perfect wedding ceremony under a stunning tree in the shade, and allowed me to arrive in my RFS brigade's fire truck (which was extremely special as my husband and I are members of the same brigade)... you should have seen our guests' beaming faces! Go into this experience open hearted - it is such a special time to be married - and you will only experience the best in weddings at Tobruk Sydney. I feel blessed to have had the chance to wed my soul mate at Tobruk on a damn hot 40 degree day in October 2015. Tobruk's team gave 120%. I will never forget all the laughs and serenity of our wedding. It's been a dream, like I said on the day. It was the perfect way to start our adventure into married life....

When I first planned my trip to Sydney & blue mountains, I came across on this website and this became my MUST DO list. When you travel with your parents in their late 60s, a husband and a 6 years old, the challenge to find an activity that everyone can enjoy become way harder. This experience seemed like everyone can easily enjoy, so I booked it in advance. After spending 3 days in blue mountains, we stop by at this place on the way to Sydney, and everyone in the group loved this activity. Natasha was an amazing person leading the experience and she was very attentive, kind, and professional. We arrived at the premises 30 min early, but Tash and her crews were all very friendly and nice. The activities were very engaging and Tash's funny explanations made the entire day even better. Tea making, trying out bread and billy tea, boomerang & leash demonstration, sheep shearing, every single activity were very interesting and the bbq lunch was delicious. My little one fell in love with sheepdogs, especially with Sky and even my parents had a great time seeing her granddaughter shearing a sheep and tasting foods. Thank you, Tash, for such a...

It was excellent choice to do something different in Sydney !

The economy program (starts with the drovers camp - how to make billy tea and tasting of fresh bake dampers . Then was demo of boomerang and whip crackling- very entertaining ! There was the working dog herding the sheep - the dog Bendi was just too clever ! The show ended with sheep shearing , very interactive and educational ). The hostress Tess was just brilliant ! She made us laughed so much, my family from Malaysia were very impressed.

The staffs (Kellie, Maria, Nick) were so lovely. We felt so welcomed. The homestead, was definately better than what we had imagined. Its basic but clean and cozy. There was no internet and phone reception , which makes it perfect for people who really want to spend some quality time together without any technology interference. We brought Jenga with us, we went out for a walk, played with Bendi and had a few go with boomerang, we had a fantastic time !!! Thanks for the excellent...

One of my couples selected this venue for their wedding day, and it was a great. Bride and girls got ready in their Homested on the day, and the groom came a little later. Staff were fantastic and accomodating, great food and plenty of places to photograph my wedded couple at sunset! A+

Wonderful day and enjoyed all the activities. Would recommend visiting Tobruk and even staying there. The Blue Mountains in the background and welcoming stockmen with sweet working sheep dogs to admire.
