Good place for families to be active or get the kids outside to play in the park. Well, it's for anyone really to pursue leisure activities - I've seen it all; people practising their instruments, Buchaechum practice, (Korean fan dancers) and the usual fitness classes! There is an astro turf oval for soccer, a cricket cage and a short walking path, great for little kids on scooters or roller skates/blades and kids learning to ride their bikes. It does have a little bit of a hill at one point which is probably too steep for littler kids, but there is enough space for them to go back and forth. The only downside of the path/turf is on a hot day it's really hot. On the other side there is a fairly new park with rope climbing, a long steel slippery dip, a round chair swing and a few other pieces of equipment. There is also a small skateboard half pipes etc. And a bitchemum basket ball court. There are bbq's and also seating to have a picnic. There is plenty of parking at the back (not on the side where...
Read moreOpened officially 24th March 2018 Newly redeveloped park facilities with games field having artificial turf and picnic seating and tables with covered awnings overhead. Paths well set out with kids play equipment being the star of the park. Although some thought could have been implemented for shade sails over the other play ares for children to have sun protection. Ample parking spaces marked out in different areas around perimeter of park. Twin Electric bbqs. No permanent public toilets available at the moment although porta loos there temporarily but poorly serviced. Child gates and perimeter fencing not available but would be a nice option as kids can wander straight out to carparks if not kept an eye on whilst playing unsupervised. Drinking fountains with dogs bowls incorporated, a plus for design. Small area for skateboard or scooters to play on a couple of ramps. Soft fall mulch and rubberized soft fall on all play areas including the hill climb. Wheelchair access and...
