The Loop trail takes you on a varied and pretty stroll on a loop walk around William Howe Regional Park. You’ll see farmlands spreading across the Razorback Mountains and to the Blue Mountains escarpment in the distance and up on the hill you’ll pass Turkeys Nest lookout and picnic area, the highest point on the track and a great place to stop for a break or a picnic lunch. From here, the walk heads into the trees, where you’ll forget how close you are to the suburbs as you lose yourself for a little while in nature. The Loop trail is a great walk for children, plus the park is dog-friendly, so you’re welcome to bring your dogs along, provided they’re on a leash.

Went for a short walk with the family yesterday when it was somewhat overcast but it was an enjoyable walking wide track which is reasonably steep. Has lovely short stone walls along the incline with the sounds of birds tweeting in the bushes and pretty Monarch butterflies following us for most of our walk. Not a bad view from the top and nice and serene too. Lovely walk to get a bit of cardio and relax in a peaceful environment.

There has been a fair bit of work done to the track The stairs have been repaired at Mt Annan side making them usable again Nice spot and dog friendly

Love this space. Its is a wonderful place to go for walks, bush hikes, ride your bikes and walk your dog. Lovely views and if your lucky you could spot kangaroos, foxes and bunnies, all in their natural habitat. You are also entertained by the many sounds and choruses of all the native birds that live in the bush. Only gripe, is the maintenance of the area isnt that regular and it sometimes affects the walking...
