Definitely one of the most beautifully impressive caves in the region. The amount of sparkling stalactites and stalagmites throughout the chamber makes it almost feel as if you were in a dream, not reality. Worth going for the awesome photo opportunities alone. We were able to book online the day before to save time and were welcomed by our guide and taken to the cave promptly at 10 o'clock for the first tour. Our guide (whose name I have unfortunately forgotten) was a lovely, quiet and very knowledgeable lady who told us a brief history of the cave before allowing us to explore the relatively small but very intricate chamber for ourselves. It truly is an amazing site to behold. A decent amount of souvenirs including some very reasonably priced crystals available back in the reception area. Good toilet block just adjacent to entrance. The 500m walk is definitely worth doing if you are able although may be a struggle for those with very young children or conditions of an arthritic nature. Overall Tantanoola Cave makes for a great outing and is an absolute must see if you are...

Cave was lovely as it was like the last time I seen it. Comfortable to explore. What was NOT okay was being asked to not breastfeed my hungry baby. It's unlawful to ask. Breastmilk doesn't just fall/ooze out. Besides we were at the pacifying stage which is next to no milk (I was putting my baby to sleep). I've breastfed on (in Mount Gambier) cave tours before, with no problem. Seriously this is a step back for women!. You seriously gonna make a baby starve?. I deliberately kept covered and stayed towards the back of the group. If it was a matter of safety I could of been offered a chair. I understand and heard loud and clear the rule regarding no food and drink but this was also a controlled situation. I'm sure other bodily fluids have make it around the cave. This was very relatively low risk. Perhaps keeping controll on the little indian kids running around and shoving past me would of been more important. This was rude and disgraceful. Never let this happen again!. It's not inclusive...

Have you ever walked into a door and simply been blown away? Because that's exactly what it's like going on a tour here. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and gave the tour beautifully! It is crazy to think from the outside of the cave that such a beauty is within it, and constantly changing! I could have spent longer in the cave spotting little things, but the 30minutes were amazing either way! The tour itself is about that duration, you can do the cliff walk which is a walk over the cave and then along the ends, not so much a 'cliff walk' - has views over the pine trees and is quite nice to just have a quick walk down. Takes less than 30 min (I probably did it in 10-15min, was by myself and stopped to take some pics). Just be mindful of accessibility in regards to steps going up in one direction and rock steps in the other, otherwise is flat between...

Definitely worth a visit!! For people like me, that have mobility issues, this is a must....it is one of a few caves Australia wide that are wheelchair accessible, so definitely put it on your bucket list! For those that enjoy a short hike, there is the clifftop loop trail which is about 500m long, mostly single file, but has sections that are challenging to climb. The caves themselves are stunning, well lit up, with clear designated paths. There are toilet facilities here, with the disabled one set in the side of the hill, the first I have seen like this! All facilities are extremely clean. Whilst there are no bbqs available, there are several picnic tables and seating spotted around the park. The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable, providing a well informed tour. If I could give it more stars I would!
