Carlton beach is one of those special places that you would normally never know about or find by accident ,it’s off a not so big highway then you head to a very small rural/ beachside community area called dodges ferry :) There is like one road that you just keep following , then b4 you know it , your at this beach . There are minimal tel tail signs that there is even a beach anywhere here. Carlton Beach road to be exact 🕺😃 The most relaxing underpopulated strip of beautiful sand and at times , gentle waves at one end then you head to a little surf scene known as parks beach, which is actually the other end of the beach , here you can get some swell snd get into the surfing Crystal clear water and will have to say it’s healing in the water here. I’ve swam all over Australia , water temp and feel , currents, sand , it’s all different wherever you go. Summer ile say that again SUMMER it really must be summer to enjoy this beach in the traditional sense :) It ain’t Sydney Qld or WA you can go swimming almost all year round 🏄🏽♂️ Carlton beach comes alive for a short window of time then it’s all gone away . The perfect day the right breeze and water temp and… you will be in heaven . So you need to keep an eye on all of the elements , never take it for granted and you may just find the perfect day, the beach will reward you🌈❤️ Infact there are moments of “ Is this really happening “ Also the view looking across the ocean back towards Hobart , is a totally mind blowing visual experience and for some of us I would say...
