Delicious wine. BUT $20 for Tasting of four regular wines which is NOT deducted if you buy wine (which we did , $150 worth). The friendly lady said she would give a ‘generous pour’ for the tasting which was for me and my wife (we only did one tasting due to cost), and she didn’t. This is unaustralian if you ask me. Doesn’t happen on mainland (I love Tassie been 7 times), but doesn’t happen. We went next door to Sinapius wines, better wine to start with, and also deducted the tasting cost ($12) from the wine that we bought. That’s fair. I would credit them with being totally Tasmanian owned, which is great. Not so with other Tamar valley wineries in that region. BEWARE and do your research. Just to reiterate: $20 tasting, one person, 4 wines, not deducted from purchase price of wine if you buy. Enough reason to give it a miss, whether your...

Stumbled across this little gem on a New Year day! We were driving around the area between different attractions, didn't plan for lunch and many places weren't open for lunch due to New Year day. Glad that they open! The wine was yummy. The area is beautiful, pretty colours of the trees & stunning rolling landscapes. The wine was good but for me being a driver, I really appreciate their simple catering / food service. Grab a board, take what you like from the fridge & pantry, order some tasting flights to go with the platter of our choice. Keep the wrappings just in case we like to take some home and charge the whole lot when we leave the venue. It's covid safe, simple, minimum efforts in food prep AND the food is yummy. I took the cheese home and look forward to getting some more from a specialty cheese store in...

We stumbled on this winery in 2011, owners Shane & Fran running a tiny little cellar door, Shane did the tasting with us as Fran was suffering laryngitis - turned to be a session rather than a tasting. This moment had stayed with us and we've drinking these wines ever since. We returned yesyerday to a larger cellar door and a manager by the name Sam who looked after us like royalty but with a layman's touch. The wines in particluar their premium pinot noir are hitting dizzing heights. Thank you Sam for your wonderful hospitality and knowledge we are so happy to see this place is hitting higher highs. This wineyard is unmissable for any winery serious tour of Tasmania -...

Incredible wine tasting with the affable Simon. An absolute must if you’re in the region. Great environment too - they offer picnic rugs, have cheeses and cured meats for sale and if you’re visiting, some gift items too. Some particular surprise packs - the sparkling cuvée (2014), sparkling vintage rosé and the rosé (2016).

Casual vibe but informative and delicious sparkling. Great that you can select from cheese and pantry items to build your own food platters. Great service and I highly recommend this vineyard. Good to also go to House of Arras which is close by. Two very different styles of tastings but each excellent. Make sure to book

We stopped in here on a rainy day before Christmas and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our holiday. The host was friendly and knowledgeable- telling us all about the differences with sparkling wine production. We really likes the wines and took a few bottles to enjoy on the rest of our trip.
