Hansons Peak — Attraction in Tasmania

Perhaps a less popular trail at Cradle Mountain but well worth doing! The views from the top of Hansons Peak are spectacular. It's also a great spot to watch the sunrise. Either hike up to Hansons peak and return back to Dove Lake track the same way, or continue on up to the Face Track and take in Lake Wilks along the way, or return via the super pretty Twisted Lakes. An extremely rewarding hike. Amazing views over Cradle Mountain on a clear day. Challenging, with chains to assist with the rock scramble. Note track can get quite icy and slippery in winter.
