This is one of the beautiful beaches along the northeast coasts of Tasmania known as the Bay of Fires Conservation Area. It is around 2km north of Binalong Bay Beach, making it convenient to visit for those staying the the Binalong Bay community or St. Helens. The beach is probably 500 metres in length.
We were very impressed with the soft white sand and isolation of the beach with just a couple of other people that at the time of our visit. What also impressed us where the remarkable outcrops of large granite boulders smothered with bright orange lichen patterns that we found following an informal coastal trail to the southeast of the beach to a point jutting out into the Tasman Sea.
These were some of the most vibrant examples of the orange lichen encrusted boulders that we found in this area of the Bay of Fires. They make for lovely seascape photos. Would very much like to revisit this area again during future trips to this area...

No one was there when we came, so felt like a private beach. The stones create some sorts of labyrinth. We really enjoy our time here. Definitely worth a visit when you’re in the bay...
