Small Wonder Wines – A Boutique Experience with a Special Touch

Small Wonder Wines offers a truly memorable visit, set against the backdrop of a breathtaking vineyard outlook. The views alone are worth the trip, with rolling vines stretching out before you, creating a tranquil and picturesque setting.

A real highlight during my visit was the live music – a one-off acoustic performance by a solo singer. The intimate, stripped-back set added a special atmosphere to the afternoon, perfectly complementing the relaxed vibe of the winery. It felt like a private concert, making the experience feel even more exclusive and memorable.

The staff at Small Wonder Wines are attentive and genuinely welcoming. They go out of their way to ensure every guest feels comfortable and well looked after, offering thoughtful recommendations and sharing their knowledge of both the wines and the local area.

The gourmet charcuterie board is not to be missed. Beautifully presented and packed with delicious, high-quality ingredients, it’s the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine. Each bite is a treat, and the board pairs wonderfully with the winery’s own selections.

In summary, Small Wonder Wines delivers a boutique experience where every detail is considered. From the stunning views and attentive staff to the delicious food and the unique touch of live acoustic music, it’s a destination that stands out for all the right reasons. Highly recommended for anyone seeking something a little...

Goaty Hill was such a disappointment! After scoping out all the vineyards in the area, and deciding on visiting this one, we arrived at 11:30 on Saturday after travelling from Melbourne. The sign at the gate said "OPEN", however upon arriving at the Cellar Door we found it closed! No worries, one of the staff was inside arranging tables, after smiling at her and knocking, she continued to go about her arranging/computer work without so much as a wave of acknowledgement. Extremely rude behaviour from someone in the service industry and we will not be back! May I kindly recommend that you only place your "OPEN" sign at the gate, if you are ready to...

Stunning wines, food and location with friendly service, definitely a must visit if in the Tamar wine region. Had the tasting which the wines were of a very high standard, was thoroughly enjoyable with the Riesling, Pinot Gris & Pinot Noir been the standouts. Also, we had the gourmet platter which was very generous with quality ingredients. The view of the vines with the Tamar river in the background is a beautiful setting for a standout winery, definitely...
