The Gardens has it all – drive right up to the end of the road, take a short walk, and the spectacular rocks, ocean and white sand beaches are right out front. It’s an easy drive – about 20 minutes from St Helens at the very end of the road. However parking is limited – just a dozen or so spaces, and the road nearby is narrow, so, on busy days this may be a problem. But it’s free, and just about anyone can make the walk to see the rocks right out front. A further short walk takes you to a lookout on one side, and the beach and rocks the other way. There’s easy, safe swimming here in the small cove, but after that it gets a little harder and requires a scramble over rocks or though undergrowth to go further to the major white sand beach. Bring your own refreshments as there are no facilities here – in fact, the only cafe between St Helens and the end of the road is at Binalong Bay and it has limited hours. On your way here or heading back make sure to pull in at the many parking spots to enjoy the beautiful white sands beach, and don’t miss the equally spectacular...

This place is amazing The Gardens, located at 1284 Gardens Road in Tasmania, is a hidden gem that offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. This picturesque spot is situated on a headland with 270-degree views of the ocean and surrounding bush and farmland ¹.

The property boasts 80 meters of beach frontage, providing access to the granite headland and a short walk along the rocks to two secluded beaches. It's an ideal location for those seeking a peaceful retreat, with plenty of opportunities for bushwalking, fishing, diving, and mountain biking ¹.

The Gardens is also part of the East Coast Whale Trail, which features 14 coastal stops with information signs about whales and viewing areas ². Visitors can enjoy the stunning scenery, spot whales, and experience the tranquility of this beautiful region.

Overall, The Gardens is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and those seeking a relaxing getaway. Its unique blend of natural beauty, outdoor activities, and serene atmosphere makes it an...

Nice little end of the island blessed with nature..the rocks with red colour on it , white sand beach and the surrounding landscape makes it a great viewing point…access to the beach and view point is a bit of walk away from the parking area, you can see the red rocks while you walk to the beach or to the viewing point. Couple of options for beach access and of course you can go on top of the rocks to have a closer look. Less parking spots, so on a busy day it might be thought to park closer..Google maps were bit cranky during the drive there..saw couple of helpful boards by locals with directions..good...
