I recently stayed at Stones Holiday Park in Telegraph Point and found it to be a charming and affordable getaway, ideal for those looking for a peaceful and budget-friendly retreat. The cabin I stayed in was simple yet cosy—featuring two bunk beds and, thankfully, a heater, which was much appreciated during the colder nights. Bedding sheets were available at an additional cost, so it’s worth being aware of this when planning your stay. The park was very quiet during my visit, with few other guests around, which added to the sense of solitude. While this peacefulness was appreciated during the day, the low lighting and occasional fog at night did create an eerie atmosphere when walking to the external toilet block. It’s located a bit further from the cabin, and enhanced pathway lighting—perhaps sensor-activated or on a timer—would greatly improve nighttime access and comfort. An outdoor kitchen was conveniently located near my cabin and included a fridge and shared bbq cooking facilities. The kitchen is shared, so a level of mutual respect and cleanliness among guests is expected and appreciated. Though the adjacent water park is a great feature, it’s not operational during the winter months, which is something to consider depending on the time of your visit. However, I was able to capture some stunning night-lapse shots of the sky, thanks to the low light pollution in the area—a real treat for photography enthusiasts. Overall, Stones Holiday Park offers clean facilities, friendly staff, and excellent value for money. While some aspects, like outdoor amenities in colder seasons, come with minor inconveniences, a few small upgrades—such as improved lighting—would go a long way in enhancing the experience. Pack warm clothing if you’re visiting in winter, and enjoy the tranquility this hidden gem has to offer.

Great place for group camping. The aqua park is a LOT of fun for all ages! 1 session was long enough and we loved it. Although be careful jumping off the big jump - you hit the bottom! It definitely needs to be deeper! We camped over Christmas and while a good location, there definitely weren't enough showers and toilets. There seemed to constantly be a queue for showers. The toilets seemed to be a long walk from anywhere.

We stayed in a cabin in winter. Cabins and trailer park with an Aqua and Action Park. You need to pay separately for Aqua and Action Parks. Check for opening times as Aqua park is closed in winter. Even action park has limited days in winter. Good size clean cabins. Not as dense as some of the other parks. There's a Tavern and bistro in 1km. Nearest grocery store is 15km away

I tried getting some resolution with the reception at Stoney park. We stayed here and although the park was fun - the cabin we stayed in had mould on the linen, chewed up lollies, sticky kids room with the bunk rails being sticky and infested with ants (maybe the picture of chewed up lollies from previous guests left behind provides some answer) my daughter woke up during the night beside herself with ant bites. The smoke alarm must have been due to get changed so that was going off at 3am. I sent an email to reception with the photos asking to be contacted to discuss our stay - 3 weeks of ignoring contact. I called reception 3 times to speak with someone and those messages went unanswered. I then sent a follow up email which I finally got some response but my issues went dismissed and didn’t address the food left in the cabin that wasn’t cleaned properly or really what happened. Poor form. Although we had fun at the actual water park area - the cabin (which was peak season costs) and the reception/manager response was below par. Please educate yourself on customer service if you are going to be a manager. Actually address issues with...

I so highly recommend Stoney Aqua park! We have been many times over the years and always had a fantastic (but safe) time on the aqua park, living out ninja warrior dreams. The BBQ area is wonderfully maintained, it also includes a sink to wash up after, and cutlery etc if you need it. Plenty of shade and seating too.

You can tell I am a huge fan of this place, but then I realised it has even more to offer! We recently had our son's birthday in their party room and it was absolutely fabulous - the room is very well appointed with oven, fridges, tables with table clothes, chairs, fans and a wonderfully roomy verandah to relax on. It was clean and tidy, with decorations already up. It was so easy to book and check in on the day was a breeze. If you're looking for a room to host an event where kids can have a great time, but also be kept out of the elements the party room is absolutely worth hiring.

Thank you to the owners and employees we have only ever had an excellent experience visiting and will be back many more times in...
