It’s definitely worth to stop here to enjoy the panoramic view! The drive between Queens Mary Falls to Boonah is really beautiful as everyone has said and recommended. The scenic country views, nature, bird’s song… just enjoyable. There are still several spots that you can stop to look at views and take pictures on the roads, too. The road is 60km speed. It’s not too fast so that you can enjoy...

Pull over as soon as you see a carpark and walk along the roadside until you reach the board walk to the viewing platform. The lookout has a bench to sit and take in the scenery as well as an engraved plaque featuring a map of the region as positioned on a compass. Spectacular views north into Qld with Main Range flanking to the west and Mt Barney National Park to the east. Good parking area just short of the substantial lookout platform with informative signage of the expansive vista. Nearby Spring Ck Cafe just a short walk from the lookout serves magic meals and coffee too with equally specky views from the balcony and gardens.

I didn't realise until I visited in a recent trip but this lookout and the plaque reference my great-grandfather, Squadron Leader Mason, who died in the plane crash in 1955 into the side of Mt Superbus. It was incredibly interesting to read about the history, and see the view. Further up where there the spot to park also has some great views of the other side.
