Queen Mary water falls is an amazing waterfall. I enjoyed an entire day with my family here. The place is blessed with a lot of natural wonders to watch around. The main thing that attracted me here is the narrow bendy road through the reserve and then surprised with a well maintained infrastructure at these remote locations. Thanks to Queensland government Australia for such wonderful development and safety establishments in remote locations. This place actually reveals the grace of God to all Australians and its land. The best time to visit this wonder is a day after moderate rain in the region. Need to take care you are not trapped in flooded roads to the area. There are so many other attractions on the way to this wonder which is Karr's lookout and falls and so on. If you take a binocular (the one sold by Aldi in recent days was the one we used) with you can make the view tremendously splendid. You can find even many other small and noisy falls with that too.
Reciting a 'Hail Mary' just after finishing your trip to this wonder will make your trip more enjoyable when you visit here. Preferably when you reach at the bottom of the falls.
The way to the falls is a 2 KM walk circuit and have got steps and steeps on it. Will go up and down to the falls and hills in this walk. So visitors with wheelchairs and health issues take note of these before hand. At the bottom of the falls it feels like rain and cold. So we need to be ready for that. The beauty of the waterfall will increase with the amount of rain. But the risk of flooding in the nearby area will also increase please note that before your visit. Here you can enjoy many multicoloured parrots at the cafe on the entrance of the park and barbeque facilities on the park. Good ambience for family parties here. Kids can enjoy these a lot. The only issue I find was no drinking water facilities at the park. Rest rooms are good too.
It is a place everyone must visit with proper planning of timing on...

I came for the waterfall and left with a new respect for nature (and my cardio levels). Queen Mary Falls is a stunning slice of Mother Earth showing off—like she's saying, "Look what I can do!" After a leisurely 2km walk (which felt like an epic hike because I forgot I’m not a mountain goat), you’re greeted by this incredible 40-meter drop that makes you think, "Wow, that’s a lot of water." It's like nature's version of a reality show, and spoiler alert: it’s always dramatic.
Pro tip: Don’t stand too close to the edge unless you're trying to star in your own nature documentary called "Wet and Wild: The Waterfall Edition." Also, wear good shoes—unless you're into slipping and doing impromptu cartwheels down the path. (10/10 on entertainment value for other hikers though.)
The area is filled with wildlife. Saw a wallaby! Or was it a kangaroo? Honestly, not sure. All I know is, it was furry, cute, and faster than me trying to climb the hill back to the car park.
Bonus: there's a lookout point where you can feel superior for a minute, like “Yeah, I conquered that,” while sweating profusely. But seriously, Queen Mary Falls is worth every step and every deep breath I took to convince myself that I wasn’t out of shape.
In conclusion: Go for the waterfall, stay for the selfies, and leave with your lungs questioning your life choices. Would definitely return—but next time, I’m bringing snacks for the wallabies and maybe a helicopter...
