By far one of my favourite wineries in the Granite Belt region. A must if you're in the Stanthorpe area and want to taste some of the best wines around... not to mention the great atmosphere. Love the pairing of classic rock with great wine and delicious plant based cheeses handcrafted by the talented vegan chef and wine connoisseur, Nick.

Nice place, friendly staff. We got to try some cashew cheese which was good. They're open later than other wineries & also do bonfires i just wish they had some food items other than cheese/platters as we would've loved to attend the bonfire & have a bite to eat. Recommended!

Very pretty winery. We did the classic white and classic red flights. We found this easier as they were busy and we could taste at our leisure. The lady that served us was very bubbly and kind. We had a great time here and it was a great introduction to the Granite Belt.

My department and I booked in for a Saturday sunset session. We were very excited to be coming to the Summit. I'd been twice earlier in the year when a lovely man was working at the bar. I've forgotten his name but he was extremely welcoming and lovely to deal with. I ended up buying a lot of wine and coming back with family and friends who signed up for deliveries from the winery. It was a very different experience this time around!!! I phoned earlier in the day to check a few things and confirm our bookings for wine tasting (which I had made about 6 weeks earlier) and to see if I should pre-order some charcuterie boards. I was told that there was no need to do this as there were plenty available. When we arrived I was told rather rudely that the winery would not be allowing us to have any tastings because there were only two staff on and it was too busy. I was told that we needed to be there earlier for this but I was not told that when I rang with our booking confirmation and we arrived at 6pm. I honestly do not believe (given that there weren't many people there) that it would have been difficult to organise tastings for the 8 of us that had planned to participate in this. I was sold the very last charcuterie board despite being told that there was no need to pre-order. I then asked for a cheese board that was one cheese with three layers of different cheddar cheeses that was dumped in its crivac bag on a china plate. No fruit or anything else. When I showed the others I was with what the cheese board was and said that "this place has changed. It's just one clump of cheese" the short-haired brunette lady who had been brutally rude from the get go snapped from behind me "It's not just one cheese, they're actually three local cheeses in the one piece." Well, I don't know who you are but you have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how to entice people to spend money and my whole department have now said that because you were so horribly unpleasant that we will never return or purchase wine from you again. We were told that we needed to finish up at 7:30pm as the staff were packing up. I was embarrassed that I'd chosen your venue to celebrate our Christmas party and one of our team's retirement. It was a strong contrast from the wonderful experience I had earlier in the year when I dealt with a very different type of person working at the bar. I had planned to buy a lot of wine to take home, as had the others but I didn't purely because you were so unaccommodating I am posting this to warn others so they don't make the same mistake. The brewery and Varias restaurant were absolutely fantastic as was the rest of our trip. This was the only blight and it's so sad because it could truly be a great place with the...

We recently visited here during our 24-hour stay in Stanthorpe, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we weren’t particularly welcome. Although we hadn’t booked a table, we said were happy to sit outside since there was heaters. We were shown menus at the counter and told “you can take them elsewhere to read”, so we came outside since we were told there was no tables for us inside. We turned 1 heater on, which we didn’t think would be an issue considering how cold it was.

This, however, resulted in the owner coming out and scolding us, claiming she had told us not to touch the heaters—a statement that was never communicated to us.

We had asked for assistance in choosing a wine and were told the staff was busy, so we assumed it wouldn't be an issue to handle the heaters ourselves. We never intended to cause any trouble and would have gladly left it for the staff if instructed.

The owner then accidentally hit my partner on the head with the heater while trying to move it, yet there was barely any acknowledgment or apology for the incident.

At this point, we decided to leave as we were done being treated this way. It was evident we were treated differently compared to other customers, which is disheartening. As someone with over 10 years of experience in hospitality, I was shocked by the poor treatment and lack of customer care displayed...

Absolute joke of a wine club. The whole thing is a rort. Didn't explain it well and when you realize you have been duded and try to get out of it you get stung with more costs so you are left with no choice but to go the full three deliveries. Their wines are at best average and you can get better for less from Dan Murphys. The attitude of Nick is at best mediocre and more or less called me a liar when I asked about how the whole thing works. This would have to be one of the worst wineries I have been to and had dealings with. I visit Stanthorp wineries regularly and definitely will not be visiting Summit again. Shocking...
