Make sure you go after a good, solid rain to get the best view and impression of the falls. They run most of the time but are at it's best in wet weather. Wheelchair/walker friendly pathway leading from information kiosk with a slight downward grade to the lookout a short distance away. Safety railings in place and there is a look-through grate in the floor of the lookout so you can see all the way down into the gorge. Don't let small children climb on the railings. It's a long way down and zero chance of surviving a fall from that height onto the rocks below. Not a lot of space to do a back-of -ute BBQ. Read moreThe easiest lookout to go to. Just off the main road/highway and you reach the car park. Then the lookout and walkaway with fence is just next to the carpark. Easy access for anyone, might just be a bit gravel-ly in the car park and going onto the walkaway. Overlooking a beautiful gorge/valley and of course the gorgeous waterfall. I went to visit on warm clear sky day and lucky to sight a rainbow at the bottom of the waterfall as well. Apparently you can walk over the fence onto the track to the top of the falls. And a great scenic route .but for higher clearance vehicles 4wd probably safest if wet .The views were stunning best to go after rain but you can fully walk the water path when less water is running and could even sit in holes or baths made from water flow when it hasn't rained. so advantages either way.
