Wing Hing Long is an experience like no other and the scones are divine! The lady who makes them, made them fresh for us, straight out of the oven, so worth the wait. $10 entry fee includes the scones and either tea or coffee in a pot with a crochet cosy...pure perfection, took me back to my childhood and so did the museum. Without doubt one of the best regional museums my Asian wife and I have visited. Both of us were taken back to our childhoods. The sights and smells are unique and it's a very important part of Australia's early pioneer history. Even two weeks later we still talk about it. A step back in time, great for older people, so many reminders of the age we grew up in. Who could forget Tang orange powder, only barely resembled juice, or coffee and chicory essence, trying hard to taste like coffee.
