Nice place for a stroll around the lake, plenty of water birds and a good variety of other birds. The walking track is well maintained and the whole reserve looked clean and cared for. Lots of information boards around telling of the history of the reserve and its flora and fauna. Saw quite a few bird photographers while I was there. Quite a few bench seats and picnic tables dotted around the lake. There are no public toilets here, however I believe that there are plans to build some in the near future.

Very nice spot with extremely tame ducks and swans, no doubt due to responsible people feeding them correctly. Sadly though we saw two people arrive with loaves of white bread which they then proceeded to throw slice by slice. Council needs to update and make more prominent signage highlighting the dangers associated with feeding unsuitable food. Killing the attraction not helpful.

Fantastic local, natural parkland with lake. Easy to access, parking for several cars, easy walk around the lake. Take your time and look for the bird life, butterflies, dragonflies, tiny tiny fish at the edge of the lake. I definitely recommend this park for a leisurely stroll around the lake. And take a picnic! Because there are several spots with benches and picnic tables.

Peaceful little nature conserve just outside the main township of Traralgon, with several gravel walking trails, all surrounding a beautiful pond with an abundance of bird life. Jetty walk crosses a section of the pond where you can stop to get a closer view of the waterhens, ducks, swans (and cygnets during the spring months!) Foreshore area where birds often meander about when they’re not swimming and several rotundas and tables/chairs available next to the foreshore. A small bridge...
