A great place to stop if you're on the "big things" tour of Australia 🇦🇺 In 1950 the amount of rain that fell in Tully was 7.9 metres. The gumboot reflects the 7.9 metre rainfall they had in Tully during 1950. That's over 26 feet of rain in one year. Epic view from the top, great bakery across the street and toilets...

Only worth it if you pass by anyway or you are collecting pictures of the big animals in Australia. Nicely done, however, with much information about the heavy rain in Tully.

When you are already there, make sure to check out the really child brief nests in the tree opposite...
