I visited The Drip Gorge on a sunny day and I was amazed by the beauty and tranquility of this place. The walk along the Goulburn River was easy and enjoyable, with lush greenery and wildlife along the way. I saw a lyrebird, some wallabies and many birds. The highlight was reaching the end of the track, where a stunning sandstone wall was dripping with clear spring water. It was like a natural air-conditioner and a refreshing sight. Lot of water fun for whole family.. the trail ends with beautiful sand stone lookout which drips water in rainy season. The Goulburn river was very calm and clear, perfect for kids to play around. There are many access point to the river along the way, each with unique but amazing views.
Lots of information about the geology and the formation of the sandstones. The drip gorge it self was beautiful too, and you can continue your walk following the shallow river after the walking track ends.
