I visited The Drip Gorge on a sunny day and I was amazed by the beauty and tranquility of this place. The walk along the Goulburn River was easy and enjoyable, with lush greenery and wildlife along the way. I saw a lyrebird, some wallabies and many birds. The highlight was reaching the end of the track, where a stunning sandstone wall was dripping with clear spring water. It was like a natural air-conditioner and a refreshing sight. I dipped my feet in the cool water and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend this walk to anyone who loves nature and wants to escape the heat. It's a significant place for the local Wiradjuri People and I felt honoured to...

Fantastic family trekking location close to Mudgee … enjoy the 1.5km walk trail with beautiful nature views along the sandstone rock on one side and flowing waters on the other. Lot of water fun for whole family.. the trail ends with beautiful sand stone lookout which drips water in rainy season. The sand stone acts as sponge that absorbs and retains water and drips it slowly… best times would be either sunrise or sunset. Good to pack swim suits, extra clothes and towel if playing in water. We also saw a giant rock shaped as frog on our...

A relatively easy 2.8 km return walk, we did it in about 1 and half hours including time spent enjoying.

The Goulburn river was very calm and clear, perfect for kids to play around. There are many access point to the river along the way, each with unique but amazing views.

Lots of information about the geology and the formation of the sandstones. The drip gorge it self was beautiful too, and you can continue your walk following the shallow river after the walking track ends.

A few picnic tables available next to...

Simply amazing. I've seen a fair bit of the bush, but this place is beyond anything I expected. Fairly easy walk, but this is not a boardwalk, it's a bush track with some tricky sections. Should only need a bottle of water and decent footwear to do this walk. When you make it to the end you'll see why this place is so special and needs to be preserved. There is toilets at the start of the track, USE THEM, some signs of people getting cought out in the track is just a shameful thing for such a beautiful place.
