If you catch this place at the right time the surf is awesome, I would recommend low tide especially for surfing and if you have kids playing in the water. When it's high tide, it can get a little hectic and the current generally pushed you into the bay a bit more, so something to be cautious about. Also quite busy, there isn't a lot of space for surfers to move about so it's easy to get clustered making it hard to catch and ride waves. There are however some beautiful rock pools to the right of the entrance. Once again though, make sure it's low tide to experience it.

Love this beach! The perfect place to take the kids for a paddle or swim. We enjoyed watching the surfers and students having their surfing lesson and walking to the rocks. The water is so clear and the waves gentle on the shore.

Great place to go out to and watch everything go by. The nearby beach is perfect for young children as the waves aren’t as large as the main beach. The rock pools here are excellent and full of life.

Having come here for over 40 years, it really hasn't changed much over the years. Except for the property prices perhaps. Whether I've been here with school groups, with events, or just a paddle for myself, it's a truly beautiful part of the coastline. There is plenty of parking except on a hot summers day and you may have to park some distance away. Please observe the parking signs as there are people who live here and get grumpy when people park across their driveways. The beach is sometimes patrolled and would recommend you come here during those times. More than once there has been a shark spotted and you need to be prudent about when to swim here. When the tide is out the rocks are awesome to explore. Just wear good solid footwear and you'll be okay. Do not remove any items from the rocks. It's against the law. There are toilets in the carpark. Out of season there is no food or refreshments. During high season there are sometimes vans selling items for beach goers. Anglesea itself is only a short drive away but believe me, if you leave your carspot you'll lose it. You can walk from Point Roadknight to Anglesea but depends on tide. Be mindful of the cliffs and the...

Beautiful beach, fine sand, clear calm waters, generally very little or no seaweed. The sand is clean, bright, and extends very deep in to the water. The waters are generally a bit cool, but it's perfect on hot days, and it's kid friendly. In the off season it's quiet and is perfect for a romantic day at the beach. In summer, the beach tends to be very busy, but still worth the visit. When the tides are out there are beautiful Rockpools to explore at the the point, but it is wise to bring appropriate footwear for exploring the...
