Walked into the cellar door to be promptly greeted and absolutely blown away by the warm service and product knowledge of an amazing young lady by the name of Lizzy (all saints, give this girl a pay rise - she’s brilliant!) Apologies in advance for poor quality pics, I got some great videos but couldn’t load them up 🤷🏼‍♂️ The two of us went for the family wine sample selection at $30 per head, great value for money for not only the wines but the food pairing/matching recommendations from Lizzy and the product knowledge in around each drop reassured that we made the right choice. If we weren’t so hungry, we probably would’ve sat there for hours and chatted to what I describe as a perfect example of amazing customer service and genuine customer care. Mad props Lizzy! 👏🏼👏🏼 We had a booking over at Bonnie, which was a small hop skip n jump from the cellar door, charcuterie board and scrummy wood fire pizza with a couple of All Saints delicious wines we perched up beside the lake and soaked up the atmosphere. We were waited on hand and foot by a young lady by the name of Georgia/Jorja (unsure of correct spelling) who not only put up with my lame dad jokes but looked after ya deluxe! We left All Saints feeling like we couldn’t wait to come back again. Great cellar door & location to enjoy some great wines in wine heartland. Loved it!

We had our wedding at All Saints Estate in March 2022 and it was the perfect venue. From the moment our guests drove down the beautiful driveway lined with trees until you reach the castle with the beautifully kept gardens they were in awe at the venue. The food was amazing and the wine was even better. The staff went above and beyond for us the entire time, especially our events manager Milly. She was just incredible to deal with and helped us tackle every issue we had through the entire process. She met with us multiple times no matter what and really helped put us at ease. Our guests loved our wedding so much and every single guest complimented us on the venue. Cannot thank All Saints enough for making our day extra special.

Originally visited in the late 90’s on our first wine journey, Rutherglen is not as well known as most of the other major wine destinations like the Barossa or Coonawarra but… if you like big reds and fortified wines then this place is a must visit….. great cellar door, beautiful grounds and they also have a wonderful little cottage across the road available to rent… we stayed for a weekend and had a lovely time with some of the best local produce and wine at their affiliated Thousand Pound Wines Bar in town, without the crowds and stress of the major regions….. many more wineries also close by well worth visiting.

I recently had a wedding at All Saints in late December last year. The venue was stunning and the catering was fantastic. However I must share a few takeaways and feedback pointers which I’ve shared with the All Saints events team which soured our experience and wedding day.

  1. Unable to meet agreed bump in (afternoon prior to my wedding day) due to another wedding. All Saints did not advise us of any changes. Was only advised when florist and organizers were on site.
  2. 9 am bump in on morning of wedding - Met with being advised that event manager was not working on the day of our wedding. Provided the manager from Bonnies to ops manage my wedding day.
  3. Bridal room was agreed upon to be used in the new main tasting area. However upon the day (being that my event manager was no longer working that day) we were pushed to a makeshift wall of wine barrels in the reception hall (with your guest). Not appropriate for a bride for dress changes. Later on we were met with our agreed upon bridal room in the tasting room (it's newly built) but it was constantly locked, and there is a camera in the room which made outfit changes for the bride extremely difficult.
  4. Confetti - All Saints has a strict rule on no rice or plastic streamers as confetti for the ceremony. It was agreed to only use rose petals and leaves. However, at the time of the ceremony, the confetti was locked away and not released to my mother in law when requested. I was shocked to learn that the 100 packaged rose petals and heart shaped leaves (all bio friendly) that my mother in law had spent days preparing were withheld from her when asked for. It's heartbreaking to time invested by my mother in law go to waste.
  5. Early pack up - Waitering staff and team that night decided to start packing up tables at 10:30, while reception was paid until 11. A Lot of my guests and friends questioned on the night and weeks to come the reasoning for packing up tables while patrons were still present. It's not a good look and I suggest this to be reviewed upon. The bride was also unable to enjoy a drink at the end of the night as drinks were stopped supplied prior to the end of the night.
  6. Constant change of event managers. In the 12 months since placing a deposit, we had a change over of 4 different event managers. Milly, Mario,Charlene and finally Danika. Over the 12 months, there was no consistency around who was managing the portfolio, and credit to Danika, who took the reins of something that was mis-managed from the departure of Milly.

I would like to share my experience as I believe these minor issues (caused by management/staff) will be something we remember on our special day. I do encourage for this feedback to be responded to and taken...

As you enter the driveway of this beautiful estate, you expect something grand , not just the wine and the food but SERVICE. It costs $15 for tasting , no problem. It is the WAY it was presented to us. Just shoved it in our faces after we tried our fortified wines. Discreet or subtle, ring a bell? Happy to pay what is required but this old lady with short hair had an attitude. It was around 12 45pm 17th August. We tried the fortified wines first because that's what I wanted to try..then we asked to try couple of reds. As she was pouring, she said you realise you're going backwards... just sayin' with a snicker on her face. These were her exact words. We amused her and told her we were aware. No wonder people who are into wines are seen as snobs ..it's people like this old woman. Think her job is to provide service and explain the different products if asked to do so. That's it. My hubby was a little confused with the tasting price and the overall purchase... her attitude was a little surly and had that ' do you not understand?' I also overheard her say to these other customers that she was hoping for a cruizy day but it's so busy today. My advice? Please don't come to work with that kind of attitude especially when it's NOT YOUR business. Before I decided to write this review, I thought, am I being oversensitve ? So I went to see if there were reviews that resonated with my concerns... there are A LOT of reviews.. hope that WHOEVER is in charge of Sales and Marketing , please read it and take into account what people say and feel. People actually take time to write these FOR YOU to read. We visited Campbell's and Statnton &Killeen nearby and bought few wines from there. What AMAZING SERVICES that we received....ALL SAINTS is a place I won't be...

An amazing place with an amazing vibe. Came here for a wedding. I definitely recommend this place for weddings around 100 people give or take.

So my partner and I arrived about 30 minutes earlier to the posted time of 4pm to the wedding and we were worried we would goto.. say, like the wrong location at the venue.

We saw the entrance and drove in through the gates and was instantly blown away by a 300m straight driveway lined with tall trees forming an arch way right down to the end where you could see... a castle! Okay, not quite a castle but it had the roof shape like one, and the inside was a lot different to that of a castle.

We parked in a nice parking lot and already got a glimpse of what looked equally, if not better then any google photos of the place. So that's the panoramic view of vineyards, a rose garden where the wedding was roctake place, the larger building which boasted large rooms for brewing wine, a cellar door for wine tasting and purchasing their wine, I bought a few bottles for when we returned home.

But what tied all this together was a garden with hedges stone paths and brick pathways and a large fountain, similar to the one in the Friends intro.

We went and purchased wine, and the staff are amazing, kind and helpful. We put the bag of wines in the car then walked to the rose garden for the ceremony. After which we had drinks in the garden and proceeded to the wedding reception located in the larger building.

We were seated at round tables and then went through the night with a 3 course meal. Simply divine, then it was dancing. Then we left.

This place is perfect. You leave feeling like wow, and it makes the best memories one could ever have when reflecting on one's truly best day in their life. A wedding in a...
