Stopped in at Cofield Wines for a wine tasting. It was lunch time so thought we'd have a light lunch. However, we were enticed to try the midweek special for $55. Well, we are so glad we did! We could choose an entree, main and a glass of wine. We had the Cofield durif and the shiraz..excellent value! We chose the corn ribs and the cauliflower and truffle soup for entrees. For mains we had the eye fillet and the slow cooked beef cheek. All our meals were delicious and we would definitely recommend our choices. Staff were lovely and friendly. Gas log fire in the corner made the room lovely and warm on a very cold Winter's day. We would definitely recommend stopping in for lunch at Cofield....

Aussie Traveller 🇦🇺 We recently celebrated a family birthday at Cofields Winery, what a wonderful venue. From the time I spoke to the event staff especially Katie it was so easy to plan the event. We had it in the Barrel Room which they decorated beautifully with fairy lights, tablecloths etc. They had gas heaters going to warm the place up. We had a two course meal which was absolutely beautiful, on time and warm, we could not fault the food. The wine was delicious too. On a whole I would certainly recommend Cofields for any event or just to drop in for lunch and a wine tasting. They did not charge for the private room and there was no minimum spend. We had a wonderful day, thanks Katie...

What a fantastic winery! Delicious broad range of sparkling, whites and reds.

Arrived in the morning and were greeted by a wine tasting where we could pick however many of their wines to try (for free!). We bought our wines and, as we were exploring the area on bicycles, left our car and the wines we purchased at Cofield. When we returned in the afternoon hot and sweaty they gave us a complimentary ice cold water an Prosecco each!

Fantastic staff with a great knowledge base and the most welcoming and fun of all the wineries we visited on the day.

Looking forward to...

Cofield turned on the charm! Generous wine tasting with a huge variety of excellent wines. There's something for everyone's taste and budget. The gift shop has lots of delicious local produce for sale. We enjoyed the grazing platter which was abundant and absolutely beautiful. The buttermilk crunchy chicken was succulent and the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The staff are friendly, helpful and informative. A perfect afternoon 👌 Thanks.

Cofield Wines are a must do in Rutherglen. There's an awesome restaurant, a lawn littered with chairs to relax with a book and glass. On the day we visited there was even a jumping castle. The wine tasting area offers samples without cost. Quartz restaurant is a standout for quality food with attentive service. The pumpkin salad was our hero meal in this region. Located directly on the Rutherglen Wine Bicycle Trail.

Had a lunch at Quartz during the week. They had a midweek special 2 courses and a glass of wine . Food was delicious, my husband had a corn and cheese arancini and an eye fillet for main which was cooked medium rare. I also had the eye fillet served with kilpler potatoes and some kale and roasted tomatoes. We will be back again . Great service and the fire was welcoming on a cold day.
