What a ripper day!!! We took our 13 year old boy there for his birthday today (over the party hats, balloons and games, now it's anything with a motor!) This experience did not disappoint👍 There are lots of things I could say to get you to go if you are reading the reviews to see if this is something you would want to do. The staff are unreal! We had Jye (sp?), Jack and Rosco. Great lads who really do explain everything from how to handle the quads, to the rules, to the history of the property etc. Just really.made.oir experience all the memorable. One of the lads even took the initiative and asked.for one of our phones so he could go in front of us to the other side of the creek so he could get a video.of us all flying through the water....wicked!! The views alone are worth going for❤❤❤. Absolutely stunning property with different views or tracks around every corner. We went through the creeks (fun), sandy tracks where you get to drift a bit (if you want to), to open spaces where the backdrop is to die for all while riding through stunning paddocks with sheep and cows.
Honestly, if you have thought about doing this but were a bit unsure....I can assure you that the boys cater to how comfortable and confident you feel riding.
It wasn't our first time and definitely won't be our last.
10/10 experience.
Thanks Jye, Jack and Rosco...appreciate you guys making our boys 13th one...
Read moreFrom first coming here in 2017 to recently riding again in 2022 I have to say that this place certainly appeals to any age and forms amazing memories that are long lasting. There is continuous fun regardless of season and weather with a helmet, gloves and especially fuel paid for in your booking. You do have to bring boots if you're weary of your nice shoes! The private farmland you get to ride in and experience has amazing history behind it from recent years and family generations. You will be indulged into the stunning scenery around you while you concentrate on an amazing ride with the given quad bikes. I personally love the quad bike adventures through the farmland with close up views of animals, wildlife and birdlife all-in-one. While still remaining a great attraction for thrill seekers with a sand dune area that has tight turns and exciting ride experiences. This is certainly a place not to miss while on holiday. Every staff member I've been with were knowledgeable and keen to have you enjoy your ride, definitely putting a smile on my face! Overall considering this is one of few standing quad bike tours close to the city I would certainly recommend anyone passing through or staying in the Fleurieu Peninsula to come and experience an amazing team, brilliant views and terrific adventures for long lasting memories with family, friends or just...
Read moreAn “Adventure Tour” is a big leap to describe what you will get. This experience is NOT aimed with anyone with any sort of experience having ridden motor bikes or quad bikes before. Do NOT attend if you are looking for a bit of fun on an off-road track with a quad bike.
As the website describes it is a tour of a farm, and that it’s what you will get. Riding the quad bike is more of a more convenient traverse of the farm rather than an “adventure” per say. Expect a ride at a slow to moderate pace, with frequent stops ensuring no pace is gained, even when well clear of the animals. Take one hand of the handlebars and expect a grilling!
Having experience with offroad vehicles myself we were paired with instructor Lyn who was VERY unconfident behind the wheel for an "instructor" and very picky on very minor aspects of operating a quad bike. Unconfortably, she required assistance from another instructor just to get her bike moving (she’s a tour guide) and would frequently stop on sharp bends causing a potential role over hazard in the sandy track portion of the tour. I felt frustrated and very unsafe by her guidance, who stops a top-heavy vehicle on a sharp steep bend!!
Don’t worry about wearing white as you won’t get dirty.
I would say this is an all-age friendly activity, my grandmother of 94 could comfortably operate the quad bike with lead...
