Fun place for the kids to explore and have a picnic. Awesome 360-degree view of the farmlands that surround Morgan's lookout. There is plenty of parking and some park benches to put out a picnic or rest. But then again, there are some lovely flattish rocks around to lay out the good old picnic rug and enjoy a meal. I love the fact that since I last was here, they have bow installed toilets, which is great, especially with the little one.
Great place to bring the kids, but it is not suitable for people with agility and mobility issues. Wheelchairs can get around a little on the dirt roads but could be a high risk around the boulders. But can definitely access the general area for a picturesque picnic outing.

It is an excellent place to divert off to, and look at one of Australia's most notorious Bushranger's History, dating back to the 1860's. Just take the 'Bumpy' dirt road off Walbundrie Road, take the stair climb (up the Granite outcrop!) and enjoy the beautiful 360 Degrees view of the area. Don't forget 'John McLean's Grave' is just a tad bit back up the road in Culcairn, NSW. Take a second visit every few years, as you will take in a lot more about the area than you may have taken in on your first trip! So go take a look, just watch your step, and...
Read moreA beautiful spring day for viewing the countryside especially from Morgan's Lookout. The new steel stairs and veiwing platforms are fabulous such an improvement. The notice information boards interesting but picked up one spelling mistake. (Which made me laugh). Toilets needed some attention but later spoke to Shire Officers about this and will no doubt be fixed ASAP. A great spot for a picnic. A place worthy of a visit. Walla just needs a place or two to get refreshments from. Had to travel on to Culcairn for that. The Culcairn Bakery was...
