What a gem this place is! We stopped by in the afternoon on a whim and so glad we did. Rob chatted about the wines and the region as we enjoyed our tastings. There was nothing rushed about it, he took the time to explain the stories behind the wines and allowed us to choose what we wanted to taste (no tasting fee). He offered great advice about things to do locally. They also have some gifts, chocolates and condiments for sale. The cellar door was charming and the playground looked cool. We would highly recommend giving this place a visit. Oh and the wines were great, we got a Rose, Cabernet Merlot and Claires Mistella breaking our 2 bottle rule (we are in a caravan so limit ourselves due to weight. Normally 😂)

It’s great place to stop by ) Rob is wonderful, he knows a lot about wine and tell us many interesting things. Winery has a small playground and small kids zone inside. Recommended! P.s. We like sweet wine - Moscato ) ))

Visiting Wignalls Winery was such a delightful experience! The owner, Rob, is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to share fascinating insights about the town's history, winemaking process, and the stunning landscapes. His passion for wine and the craft was evident, and we loved hearing his stories as we tasted the wines (with no tasting fee, by the way!). The experience felt refreshingly personal and authentic, quite different from the more commercial wine tastings in Perth or the Swan Valley. Rob's detailed explanations about the local grapes, geography, and what makes a great wine made it all the more special.

We ended up purchasing six bottles, and Rob kindly arranged for them to be shipped to our home in Perth – with no delivery fee! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning to Wignall Winery. Plus, knowing we can have the wines delivered makes it even better. Highly...

Visited here when staying in Albany as I had read the great reviews and this winery is really close to Albany. Rob the owner was very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting to talk to about wine and the Albany region in general. Wignalls Wines have won many impressive awards and no fee is charged for the wine tasting. The wines I tasted were all lovely and reasonably priced. I am excited to try...
