Former local & still love it. Stunning waterfall. I have a personal love for Waratah, As I was involved in a council working bee many years ago over 6 months when six of us gravelled all the walking track & built a few small rock walls around the edge of the water race & we cleared all the black berries & cleaned out the water race from end to end by hand with shovels & slash hooks & wheel barrows & we built the wooden water wheel also. I guess knowing I was part of something bigger than myself & it will always be there, Which makes Waratah feel a part of me also. I love the kenworthy's stamper mill building also, which displays an important part of the mountains history. Would love to see more photos of the originanal power station pipeline tho which I know one pipeline was for the power station & another was used to pressure blast the side of the mountain & more photos of the buildings a workings below the waterfall in...
