If you’re going to visit any winery in the Clare Valley, visit this one. What a wonderful experience. Jason the owner has a passion for what he does and it comes through in his delicious variety of wines. A small & intimate yet casual setting, with glorious views of the vineyard and rolling hills as a backdrop. Jason was super friendly and informative, giving great descriptions of each wine. Tough gig, taking over a well established, award winning winery, but Jason has done it very well. Not only has the team respected the past vintages, but are allowing their new personality to come through and follow up with some cracking wines (Jinx Grenache, I bought lots). We had an amazing experience at the Crabtree Wines! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Jason and the adorable Echo, his friendly Lagotto Romagnolo dog.
