Bundegi is still beautiful but the cafe which was the best in Exmouth as it was the ONLY one looking over the ocean, great breakfast n dinner and friendly staff will be sorely missed by locals and travellers The word is the strategic location re military,communication and American influence will not see another cafe there or diving on the famous navy jetty A few coffee drinkers or scuba divers should surely pose little security risk to the cape infrastructure? The water is clean and pretty calm, but not great for snorkeling. The reefs are quite far out, so you either need a boat or be a very confident swimmer.
