Picturesque setting for a nice day on the beach in fine weather. Only a short walk from the Old Telegraph Station carpark over the sand dunes if you don't have an AWD to take you closer via the AWD track. In a state of disrepair, but still has a beautiful charm about it. The beach itself is a great place to soak in the sun, have a picnic, and/or have a dip in the pristine water. There is some floating and submerged vegetation as you enter the water, but walk through it in the shallows and the water becomes clear and very enjoyable. Well...

The remains of the old Jetty are not particularly impressive and the beach is overrun by seaweed but there is a wonderful sense of history and a beautiful surroundings that made the visit more than worth it. It is a little tricky finding your way from the old telegraph station ruins through the dune vegetation but certainly fun to drive. The vegetation provided good cover...

Now this really is history just looking at it and wondering how much hard work it would have been in the bad old days to collect the materials and put it together. Has survived the test of time and will probably still be there in part at least in another 100 years. Would recommend..... 4wd for access and great...

A bit of a walk from the car park to the beach and jetty. Was a beautiful warm day and coming over the last sand dune and seeing the sparkling blue water, white sand, very small waves rippling in and the slightest warm breeze was a moment of joy for me, so glad I made the effort to walk. Definitely worth it for me.
