This is beach camp is a little undiscovered gem about 75km west of Esperance. $15@site @nite. 18 sites. Cannot book. First in best dressed. Pay in cash via honesty box near toilets. The sites vary in size and not all can accomodate caravans. The ground is rock hard so screw in tent pegs are advisable. Turn off from main highway easily identified and good quality gravel road. Last 3.5km before the camp is a bit corrugated but easily driven even in a normal sedan just lower your speeds. Varying between 5-40km got us in over the corrugations. Dont let the road put you off. Clean drop toilets, hand washing, rush bins. No water nor other services. Easy to reverse caravans into the sites. We stayed on site 18 which was deep enough to stay hooked on to a 19โ6โ van. Nil mobile reception at camp but walk to the beach and you get 2-3 bars of service. Each site separated by thick costal scrub. The bird life is abundant with bird calling from dawn to dusk. Just the bird life is reason to visit. A 2 minute walk to the beach with access to the beach via a stair platform. Turn right at the bottom to the many rock pools or turn left to walk the sand beach. Well...
