The place was gorgeous, love the scenery, not much lavender, maybe the owner/staff just harvested when we got there previously. The place need to be more gimmicky and friendly atmosphere . Should provide more clear signs around the place. When you advertised "lavender" as your main product, as a customers, we expecting the place will be smell nice and lavendery, purpley, calming and positive vibe around the place, but sorry, it hasn't. The shop itself (where you buy gifts/lavender products and counter where you place the order for cafe's menu) does not hve any lavender smell, it would be great if lavender fragrance freshen up the place suit with the theme.

Customer service, sorry dreadful, rude. Called this place at 10am to book a table(we expecting this place will be full on weekends, so dont want to drive 45 minute to get here and not have available table for 5 of us) so call the place, a guy answerd it, said, (no greeting), "No booking, just turn up" and hang up the call. Like 10 second call 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ so we arrived about an hour after, placed an order, we got lavender scones, and few drinks and coffees plus lavender ice cream. The staff should really put an effort for this place. Put a bit personality even have to fake it. For a place that they declared, have been running this business over 25 years, i could imagine, they must have a great customer service skills. You might have a knowledge about your products, but soft skills, customer relations and customer service is zero. No enthusiasm, no smile, everyone look depressed and seems someone force them to be there. Please don't expect all your customer know how you run the place, what's on your cafe, just like the 5 of us, this is our first time. When taking our order, the owner-maybe (old guy) yelled at the other customers who in and out through the sliding door but left the door half open. I understand it's annoying, but you dont have to left us at the counter, go straight away to the sliding door, and yelled at that person coz they are not shut the door in front of others. Instead, "Write the CLEAR note at the Sliding door- Plese Shut the door" from in and outside the sliding door. 👍

The cafe's menu.. was good. Lovely lavender scones. Freshly bake. I like it. Nice jam and fresh cream. Love the ice chocolate with lavender ice cream. The lavender ice cream was so refreshing and amazing. Recommended this one. A small suggestion, you guys can put 3 to 4 actuall scones in the small glass display on counter, so people can judge how big or the actual size of scone that you serve. Coffee.. sorry guys.. it is too weak and milky. Love the outdoor sitting area. Love your little buddy who running around the place and so cute.

Overally, OK experience, we all did enjoyed the place, can be improved in certain area, if anyone ask, would you drive over 45 minutes to get here again?...

It was nice to sit here at a table in the sun, looking up the small hill covered in sculpted lavender bushes and at the surrounding gum trees. The shop has everything imaginable that you could make smell or taste of lavender, and for prices that are probably not high for a gift shop. The man attending, however, was gruff, unfriendly, and rude (although the young woman was nice enough). When I asked him where the toilets were, as I walked towards them, I heard him saying 'to himself', "You're welcome". That was totally unnecessary. After ordering scones for $9.50 that were supposed to taste of cheese and herbs, I was very surprised to get two tiny scones that were perhaps 4 cm in diameter, with no cheese whatsoever and so little herb that I could hardly see or taste it. These were served with a very small amount of butter. What a rip off! The lavender ice cream was nice, but not exactly cheap. I could have bought a few things in the shop to get some of my Christmas shopping done, but the man's behaviour really put me off, so I didn't. What really made the time spent there were two female-male pairs of little fairy wrens flitting about close to the tables, hoping for a little bit of food to fall their way. I watched them for quite some time and it made the trip there feel worthwhile. Take a look here if you are passing, but otherwise I would...

This review is just for the products we bought as we was just passing through on the way home. We bought the lavender room spray. Lavender heat pillow, lavender lollies and lavender jam. The verdict.

Lavender room spray. It has one of the best scents we have ever smelt. There was no chemical after smell. 5 🌟

Lavender lollies Having never tried to eat anything with lavender in it, we were a bit dubious but after a slight shock of the first taste, we ate half the jar on the way home. 4 🌟

Lavender heat pillow 5 🌟 for both the appearance and smell.

Lavender jam 4 🌟 similar in taste to the lollies

Prices I thought was very reasonable 5🌟

We will be visiting again to try other products and also to purchase unique birthday presents Being vegan ourselves we can't try the icecream which is a shame. The young lady in the shop was very helpful and quickly showed me where the items I wanted were. Might have a coffee and stroll around the gardens next time. Also saw a number of people with dogs there so it must be...

We visited Lyndoch Lavender Farm on Mother’s Day for a relaxed brunch and were immediately taken by the stunning views. It’s such a peaceful and picturesque spot. The menu isn’t huge, but it’s perfect for a light bite or a morning/afternoon tea. We went with the toasties, apple strudel, and lavender ice cream. One of the lovely touches here is that you can choose whether or not to add lavender to your dishes. They use just the right amount, enough to give a delicate, fragrant twist without being overpowering. The ice cream is a must-try. It tastes exactly how lavender smells and it is delicious. After enjoying our treats, we took a stroll along the walking trail. It winds through the farm and offers beautiful views, rows of lavender, and interesting info on how lavender is grown and processed. The little shop is a treasure trove of lavender goodies from skincare to home products. It’s probably best to avoid visiting on a very hot day, but on a mild one, it’s a beautiful way to spend a morning or afternoon.
