Very short and easy trail, it was quite muddy though and soaked my tennis shoes so waterproof boots would be recommended. Also the flies were quite bad so recommend long clothing to protect you. Not a bad place for a short walk, but not much to really see there. If I'm being honest I would suggest doing the nearby Sawpit Creek Waterfall track for better views and path. Didn't have a much issues with the bugs but was also a bit muddy.

Very pretty walk and not difficult. Good for beginners. It is also very quiet to enjoy the place. We were the only hiking group during our hike so we have very enjoyable quiet time. The lake is very blue and calm. Lots of good photo taken for the reflections. Definitely worth the visit. There is no much parking though so we only park next to the main road unsealed Boulder.

A short walk to a small lake that was dammed to use as a water source for a hotel that has long since burnt down. The path is unmarked but just follow the ruts of the people that have walked before. Gets a bit muddy in places and a couple of hops over streams. Nothing much at the lake, but a nice short walk. Lots of flowers in Feb, and march flies as well.
