I took my girlfriend for a lovely romantic lunch at Clairault Streicker last week, and I must say it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in the south west. We started with an informed wine tasting with the lovely Cara, every wine we tried was delicious. It was had to pick my favourite but I went with the Streicker 2019 old vine Cabernet. We were then taken outside onto the deck by Ulrika and seated at the best table in the house, with uninterrupted views of the native bush and vineyards , not to mention the manicured lawns. We chose the 3 course long lunch and started with a glass of sparkling each. Our entrees came out in a timely manner , my girlfriend had the duck liver parfait while I chose the salmon. Both were delicious and looked like a colourful masterpiece. This was followed up with a glass of SBS for my girlfriend who had chosen the fish of the day and a glass of the Streicker Cabernet that I had tasted earlier to match my choice of Lamb. Both dishes were again superb and I must say paired perfectly with our choice of wines . Finally we came to dessert . We ordered the cane cut Sauvignon Blanc Semillon , a decadent sticky wine. From the menu I chose the chocolate brownie , no ordinary brownie , this was to die for. My girl ordered the pear and frangipane tart with creme anglaise . This was also delicious as I had to steal some . All in all it was a fantastic fine dining experience I would definitely recommend. Awesome food , great wine , beautiful location and staff that were positive...

This is one of my favourite wineries in the South West! Not only do they have outstanding wine (Hellllooooo Queen Chardy and King Cabernet), but they have an amazing restaurant.

The surroundings and vibe are classic down south winery with a fireplace for winter and a beautiful outside area with a view into the vineyard for summer- and live music!

But the kicker...The chef has absolutely nailed the menu! It's the perfect balance between very fancy food and a brewery menu; a degastation menu which costs too much (and has too much food in it) and a winery with just platters; and the option to have a long three course lunch or just a few nibbles to go with your wine tasting.

I thought the three course set menu for $80 is at the correct price point and just the right amount of food. You get to choose an entree, a main and a dessert (and can match wines if you choose). Warm, freshly cooked focaccia was part of the deal and this bread is seriously the best bread I've ever had! I could not fault the food throughout our lunch. The staff went above and beyond to make sure one of our party who was a vegetarian and gluten intolerant also had some great options to enjoy their meal too.

Thank you Clairault Streicker for having that perfect balance at your restaurant. Big high fives for the chef and his team! I can't wait to come back next season when the...

My husband and I had lunch here for Father's Day. We had never been before but we certainly enjoyed it. The three course lunch for $65 was very nice with just the right amount of food. We also had a lovely bottle of cab sav which we really enjoyed. Staff were lovely, especially the young lady (I cannot remember her name) who did most of the waiting on us and she was very friendly and helpful. The only gripe we had was that unfortunately we booked an outside table and the weather was quite fresh. We asked if we could be seated inside but were advised they were fully booked. The inside dining area is fairly small and the tables did appear to be all being used. They do have a large wine tasting area with tables which were not being used when we were there and it would have been nice to be offered one of these. Therefore, I would suggest that unless visiting in warm weather an inside table booking would be best. There were small heaters on the wall which did not really cover us but the offering of blankets was a nice gesture. All in all a lovely place to visit and I would...

Of course you get good quality food when you visit a winery and restaurant like this. I thought the customer service was professional and outstanding. The food was the best restaurant meal that any of the 4of us have had in a few years, so I apologise to other restaurants I have done 5star reviews to, but this meal was the ultimate. See photos: 3of us had lamb shoulder with tomatoes and olives and black garlic gratin. The hubby had caramelised pork belly with Japanese risotto and picked cucumber. We all tried each other's meals and agreed each meal was top notch. Adding to that was the atmosphere, a beautifully designed restaurant, vineyards, paddocks, fresh air and a great vibe.

One of the best experience while hopping Margaret River’s cellars! The lady who serviced our tasting was so cheerful and passionate, shared a lot of knowledge to better understand the great range of wine. We are kindly led to sit at a table in a beautiful setting like a restaurant and we took our time and enjoyed tasting. I especially liked 2016 Clairalt Margaret River Cabernet Merlot, 2018 Clairalt Margaret River Chardonnay, 2017 Clairalt Estate Chardonnay, 2014 Clairalt Petit Verdot and 2017 Streicker Bridgeland Block Rose which came in Merlot. We could too many lovely wines, ended up purchasing a dozen of wines happily! The garden and the restaurant are very beautiful too.

Clairault has become a fav of ours on our trips down south. First time trying the food and it was awesome. Beautifully balanced and full of flavour. The risotto paired with the fume, and the fish paired with the ironstone Chardonnay 🤤 Also, ask for Gareth to run you through the wines. Being a winemaker himself, his knowledge is exceptional and inevitably we spend an hour or so chatting šŸ· It’s a perfect lazy afternoon and the cheese board is one of the best in the region. The house made lavosh is perfect and nothing beats a cheese board, log fire and great wine. 10/10.
