Read moreIn a word , AWESOME !. I recommend everyone go there and check out when automobiles were actually automobiles and not digital computers on 4 wheels like the new cars of today are.
Its absolutely great to see museums like this that shows us the history that once was. The engineering that was involved in creating these beautiful machines , it was a work of art and the simplicity of the mechanics of them are amazing and not so complicated and unrepairable like the cars being manufactured today.
The veteran cars right up to the classics was the best time in the history for the automobile , a history that sadly will never be repeated but can still be preserved and workable till this day. The new cars of today have no heart , no soul and every thing digital and you cannot beat something that is analogue , reliable and easy to fix and repair when needed. As they say "Less Is More".
Thank you so much to all the people and staff at the Motorlife Museum for such an amazing display of our history from the cars to all of the other memorabilia on display there , that was also very interesting and informative. So keep up the great work as these stories need to be told and the work and skills involved need to be carried on to generations to come. Your passion and dedication to the Museum and the work you all do there is...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but this time I really wanted to. If I could give 6 stars, I would. This amazing museum exceeded all my expectations. An extensive collection of retro cars, motorcycles, and bicycles. They are in excellent condition and well looked after. In addition to cars, there is a large collection of antique rare items - from gramophones to car number plates. All these things give a sense of history - from the era when carriages still drove and Karl Benz created his first prototype of the car, to the Golden Age of Hollywood and the 1970s in Australia.
It feels like this museum was created with great love and continues to be managed with the same love.
A huge thanks to the museum staff - they are very friendly and a treasure trove of interesting information. Special thanks to our wonderful guides, volunteers Trevor and Bob - your fascinating stories were so interesting to listen to!
Overall, if you love vintage cars or just appreciate aesthetics and want to spend an unusual day, this museum is definitely worth a visit. If you are even a little bit into history, you can spend a whole day here in rapture. And considering that you can get a ride in a 1920s car, then you will definitely remember this day....
