We were greeted by a very friendly team member providing us with early information for how to access the park and all other necessary information at the date by another friendly lady which enabled us to enjoy the experience even more. This is a different environment to witness at this nature park compared to others in FNQ if you view the photos. Its an easy walk accessing different vantage points including the tower whilst listening to information from your earpiece at different stages of the walk; multilingual also an option for those tourists. Take insect repellent for the match flies and some water to top yourself up on those hot days. If you’re in the area, you stop by at least once.

Gourgeous spot for picnic, has free camping at Golden Holes, easy walk to the water approx 60m from car park. Visited a week ago, 3rd visit, dont just walk, look and turn around, explore along the rivers edge great photo opportunities . Natural setting no facilities other than toilet block by carpark. No waterfall but picturesque.

Pete's Falls is definitely worth a visit. A short hike through semi rain forest, kauri pines many different bird species and flora. Crystal clear streams and then the falls For the more adventurous you can rock hop to the top of the falls with the aid of a rope on the right hand side which has been set there.

Definitely worth the visit! Some of the most beautiful waterfalls in North Queensland and all in such a small area. Babinda Boulder's, Josephine falls, Nandroya falls, Silver Creek falls, Tchupala and wallicher falls. There are others not too far from here too but outside of Wooroonooran National Park. Some great photos and if your brave enough you can enjoy a swim in the cold crystal clear water which is so clean you can drink it, just don't...
