We took our little one here on a hot day shortly before Christmas. I'll describe the place below, but first I want to highlight how incredibly "on the ball" the staff were. Three anecdotes: 1. The lady running the Ferris wheel & rotating cars attractions. She had an astonishing radar for making the experience great for each individual child. Our tiny one was scared to be on the Ferris wheel, so she let her go around just once and then asked if she wanted to go again. A little later, some other kids kind of "pushed in" to the rotating cars (not really on purpose), and the lady reserved a car for our tiny tot. When the car attraction was running she would spin each car a different amount - very gently with us and exuberantly with the bigger kids. She was smiley and put her heart into it and this made it such a nice experience. Thankyou! 2. There was a queue for the train which meant a 15 minute wait. The staff noticed this and organised for a lizard to be brought out and taken around for patting! 3. The lady running the cafe and taking orders was just so cheerful. Oh and I forgot - 4. The baby animal patting... each child has a seat with their parents and they are brought out in little cardboard boxes... again, staff very attentive. The amazing staff made all the difference! What an amazing team! Okay so now some general information about the place... Basically the park has two sections - an open section with various attractions, and then a closed section that can only be visited by train. They advertise that the train only goes 3 times each day (11am... and 2 other times...) but when we were there it was busy & the train did additional trips (I think the 3 trips a day is for quiet days where they don't want to be staffing a train that has very few people on it). The train goes into the closed section where there are bigger zoo animals - camels, lions, ostriches, and much more. But the trip only goes for about 15 minutes. For 5 of those minutes you can disembark at a platform and feed some camels. The train trip is included in the entrance fee. So then there is the open section which has three mazes, some playground equipment, some birds, a wallaby area, a baby animal area (where you sit with your children and they bring animals to pet), the ferris wheel / car amusement attractions... but these only start running from 11am... and an animal presentation space where a staff member brings out various animals and talks about them and brings them around for a pat. There are probably some other spots I've forgotten. There's a cafe in the middle with some indoor and outdoor tables and some indoor armchairs (a nice touch). The cafe has buzzers so you can order and wait for your buzzer to go off. The toilets are well kept. It's not a huge place but we found plenty to do for about 4 hours or so. Entrance fee + lunch for 3 all added up but then the place is well run and well staffed so it felt worth it. I'm pretty sure we were there on a busy day and the place "coped" quite well with the busyness, in no small part because the staff were so cluey. It's ideal for small children. I definitely recommend it! We'll be coming back for sure. I took some photos of their cafe menu.

Underwhelming. Park looks worn. Maze could be better maintained. Would have liked to give a better rating but after the experience I had today, 2 stars would be generous. They advertise show/performance times but they dont stick to them. An announcement was made advising a wildlife presentation in 5 minutes, it didn’t happen so we were waiting around aimlessly. Very hard to plan your day when there’s a schedule but shows don’t run on time. $6 for the pony ride is reasonable but it’s literally one round of the gated enclosure. As a customer, I don’t understand why the train only runs every 2 hours. The park isn’t big, so it would be good to have it run hourly & not have people waiting around. We decided to sit down for lunch whilst we waited for the 1pm train. Cafe wasn’t too busy but after waiting 20mins for our food (not a big order), I was told there was a mix up and my food would take another 10mins. After another 15mins, I followed up again and asked for a refund as it was now 12:50pm. Lady at the cafe said oh well your food is ready now so I can’t give you a refund. I asked if a refund was possible as I could not possibly finish the meal in 10 mins with 2 young kids. Again, she said no as the food was now ready and offered to keep the food under the warmer until after the train ride. I then asked to speak to the manager who apparently said a refund was not possible, she was getting more rude and rather than trying to resolve the situation was arguing with me that the food was ready, so there’s nothing to complain about. I managed to locate the manager, explained the situation and got the refund and left the park. Wouldn’t come back given this negative experience. Would rather give my business to someone else who treats their customers better.

I do not like writting a negative feedback. Needs to be a warning to others visiting the Amazement Farm and Fun Park. Ask questions at the entrance, be prepared for extensive wait times and due to number's you may miss out on activities. I planned and travelled to see this place with my children very excitedly only to be left gutted. I don't believe they ment to be deceptive but it felt that way afterwards. On ticket purchasing I also bought different animal food including camal cookies and asked about Koi fish the lady said no were not feeding the fish at the moment. Pony rides are sold out and it's 10 am. Many enclosures that are on the map are not there such as the Koi fish, Bonsai garden, Wallaby walkthrough with no wallabies not even one and no reptiles. The giant games there is only one and these areas are dated and dirty. The naughts and crosses are made out of cardboard falling apart and missing. The main animals you can only access from train ride including to feed your camel cookies. The train ride is an extra $5 per person to me that's reasonable. The train only runs at three different times in the day after lining up for 30 minutes we were told to get the next train. Got a refund for our tickets. No toilets just two very close together port a loos again huge lines. The amount of people for the size of the park, to the wait times, to the pricing, to the enclosures to the experience, to the lack of communication from staff on their facebook page and in person at the entrance about the closed enclosures has left a sour taste in my mouth. Spent more time traveling in the car then at the park. Gave 1 star as the mazes was this parks saving grace.

Oh my god I can not believe how bad this place is. My family visited this park on Sunday 24th January as we had heard it was good. We had the pleasure of paying $44 for 2 adults and one child and could not believe what we had paid for! The park is well past its best before date along with most of the animals. Let's start with the overgrown heart maze which takes about 3 minutes and does nothing. Fighting your way past the overhanging bushes is the most challenging part. We then went to the playground which was flooded. The swings are garbage and broken and with the flooding you actually could barely use them useless you were happy for your child to be covered in mud from the mud puddles on the ground. Moving over to the play house which all I can say had a moat round it so that was no good. We tried a couple of push bikes but they were so rusty and knackered so we gave up on those. My daughter found the big playhouse which was so rotten around the bottom it looked like it may fall down - never mind the large holes in the roof. She also found a red go cart but the steering wheel just spun round (no longer attached) so that was absolute garbage also. We then went to another maze which was damn right pathetic. It was more concentration camp than maze. You didn't follow the hedge as all you can see is wire fencing which you can obviously see through DEFEATING THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF A MAZE!!!! We went to pet the bunnies next. The staff member was nice whilst she waded through the swamp where we were sat. My daughter was given a rabbit which has sharp claws which dug into her leg, combined with its sickly looking ears we decided not to stay too long. We also went to feed the goats and sheep (only one sheep!) and they ran out of food. There may have been 10 children in there and they ran out of food!! It was so exciting for my daughter to see an empty plastic ice cream container! We finished off our tour with the stone maze. ARE YOU HAVING A LAUGH. There are rocks in a circle which you call a maze. I won't mention the broken ornaments which also exist which must be used to fill in the gaps. That basically was the last straw and we had had enough. Finally we visited the bathroom through the cafe. Oh my god. Dirty, small and I even had to find toilet paper and to top it all off there is a towel which you and everyone else uses to dry your hands - ARE YOU SERIOUS??? My daughter touched it and I made her wash her hands again. Who is their right mind supplies a towel - it would be cleaner to use the sheep! Due to my utter disgust of this establishment I even took picture of all of the rubbish that was at this park. I cannot and will not recommend this place to anyone. It's overpriced, tired, dirty and pointless. I have no idea when or where the pictures were taken on their website and they are an absolute fabrication of the truth.

I have had a look at previous reviews since returning from this place and anyone who gave a bad review does get a reply from the management but if you look close its the same reply each time - Sums...

RESPONSE TO OWNER * Honestly I wish I took a picture because there certainly was poo on my husband and sons shoes from the maze evidently proving there were farm animals roaming or not being cleaned up after throughout an attraction ! Why would I take the time to write a review if it wasn’t accurate. I’m well aware the times were on the pony tickets however the staff did not follow this hence my problem. I’ve found a common recurring theme in your response to poor reviews... Rude and defensive yet no ownership of any grievance being raised. why don’t you post some accurate photos on your website and advertising !

ORIGINAL REVIEW* Extremely over priced for overall experience. $55 for entry for myself , my husband and 3 year old son with a pony ride. My son fed a goat with three pellets and that was it unless you wanted to wait until the end of the day to brush the ponies I was told. No talks or other hands on experiences. The first maze we walked through had large animal droppings everywhere ! Not scattered as if had been cleaned and a few forgotten I mean HUGE PILES of poo ... in a maze ! Definitely hadn’t been checked prior to opening. Although there were a lot of staff about nothing much happened. Only goat feeding and pony rides. we waited for far longer than I believe we should have while children from a birthday party each had multiple turns after pushing in while other children who had yet to have a turn patiently waited and became quite upset. This should be organised better ... possibly different times for the large parties to the rest of the public. There was a young girl named Kayla who did the goat feeding and pony rides and she was the only friendly staff member we encountered. Good on you Kayla ! You made our little boys day with your positive attitude.

We couldn’t find a lot of the animals and a lot of empty paddocks down the back. The bikes were very old and broken and play equipment dirty. It appears to be very well presented online and as a highly interactive farm experience it’s not ... Don’t waste your...
