Have been here twice over the past 5 years because everyone deserves a second look :) The location is absolutely beautiful and has a hidden Gem sort of vibe to it.
The first time we went was on a tour bus so it was gone in a flash the subject matter the wine is of a high and interesting quality we where not there for a great deal of time but where teated okay.
The second time, however, I think that the skills of the gentlemen serving us of reading the room were a little sub-par, first two sentences, where are you tourists? "Yes." Wait, no, we call those people (literally standing in front of him) terrorists not a good way to start, the tasting, proceeding with 5 minutes of him serving two other people... So good we loved standing there waiting. That's always a good time. Finally, with no one else there and our first pour, the first wine was pretty alright, although I knew nothing about it because he wouldn't tell us... He must have thought we were going to live up to the name he had given to us... Other people he obviously knew arrived and got some premium service. I loved feeling appreciated it was actually the best.
The wine here is its actually its saving grace they have some nice wines, not amazing, just nice.
Go here if you have a robust sarcastic attitude....

The wines were all delicious, but my favourite was the sparkling Shiraz. We left with a few bottles 🍷🍷
The owner was very friendly and funny, he told us many stories about the Margaret River region, wine making process and how his winery came about. I really appreciate someone taking the time instead of rushing through the tasting which is usually the case.
I definitely recommend if you are staying in...

The owner himself served us in this non-pretentious boutique winery & was not only knowledgeable about his wines but was friendly & ready to offer guidance & advice about the area. And the wines themselves? Probably the best I had tasted in the five days we spent...
