Highly recommend, this is the best bushwalk local to Traralgon.
Beautiful park, weeds and trail are well maintained. There are obstacles along the trail and it is quite challenging in sections. Hiking with the sights and sounds of the river is awe inspiring. There are many spots where the trail comes close enough that you could have a dip, one section even has steps down.
Close to the pumping station is a camp ground, which costs $5/night (per car I think) with a toilet and BBQs. However no fires are allowed at any time. I plan to come back and have an overnight stay on a warm night.

The path remains in good condition for the first 3 kilometers, but beyond that, it begins to show signs of neglect, with areas that could use some attention. Along the way, there are scenic spots where, especially in the summer, you can cross the river and explore further, adding a bit of adventure to your visit. The park offers a mix of nature, peace, and exploration, making it a pleasant experience for those who enjoy outdoor activities and a bit of...
