So you've had a lovely weekend down south, but alas, reality sets in and you begrudgingly you pack up the car. Set the GPS and see that lovely (read boring, traffic filled, frustrating) stretch from Bunbury to Mandurah pop up and already you're longing for wineries and a place to stop and reward yourself for the hour you've already spent behind the wheel.
At least that's how our morning went,.. And so we turned into Winery 28, initially to simply escape the traffic,.. But what we found was the first true peaceful moments of the weekend away, with absolutely delicious varieties of wine we'd never had before, and a platter of the freshest most delicious cheese, fruits and meats!!
Mark is very knowledgeable and there is a clear passion in what they produce! They've converted us into Arneis and Nebbiolo drinkers! We'll definitely be back.

Their whites are surprisingly refreshing in both taste and style, the rose is a must have/taste and their reds are interesting to say the least. Go and have a look, we had a great time and it was worth the 10 minute detour. The tasting was free, which was very much appreciated, and they knew what they where talking about.
Be aware that the road leading up to the vineyard +/- 3 km "bush" is a bit of a bumpy one, still quite good to do in a normal 2WD car! (best described...
