This lookout is a nice 5-10mins drive from the main town of York. We drove all the way up and there is free parking at the top. From the carpark, you can either take a short flight of stairs or take a ramp up to the lookout where you will be greeted with the wonderful view down the town. We spent a good 30mins up there enjoying the scenery as far as our eyes could see. There are insects and interesting flora to examine also. Nice place to be i would think!...

A must visit if you are going to York. It’s just about 3km from the city and there’s a car park like 200m below the lookout. Seems like kind of busy during the weekends and if there’s an event. There was a bike event where people ride through trails on the weekends when I visited. There is no need to buy any tickets or book in advance to visit this place.
