This lookout is a nice 5-10mins drive from the main town of York. We drove all the way up and there is free parking at the top. From the carpark, you can either take a short flight of stairs or take a ramp up to the lookout where you will be greeted with the wonderful view down the town. We spent a good 30mins up there enjoying the scenery as far as our eyes could see. There are insects and interesting flora to examine also. Nice place to be i would think!...

York is a charming town in Western Australia, full of history and culture. It is a great destination for a day trip from Perth, as it offers many attractions and activities. One of the highlights is the Mount Brown lookout, which provides a stunning panorama of the town and the surrounding countryside. The picnic area at the base of the hill is also a nice spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. York is a must-see for anyone who loves nature, heritage, and...

A must visit if you are going to York. It’s just about 3km from the city and there’s a car park like 200m below the lookout. Seems like kind of busy during the weekends and if there’s an event. There was a bike event where people ride through trails on the weekends when I visited. There is no need to buy any tickets or book in advance to visit this place. And you can call the York Information Centre if you need any specific...

Save πŸ’› for wildflower locations πŸ‘‡ September will be the best 😍 🌼 York - @experienceyork oldest town in WA. Rod was a great tour guide I will find his details and add them here 🌼 Perenjori cutest town! Roadside canola is OK for photography but only from the fence. It can damage delicate crops/wildflowers if walked into, and it's not legal to trespass on private property. There's purpose built places, for example York town has a canola for public use available September 3rd 😊 Enjoy the season! ❀🌷🌼 We acknowledge the Yamatji, Whadjuk and Ballardung people as the traditional owners of the lands mentioned above.
