Our lovely Chinese Gardens are a must see when you visit Young. A lovely area for family picnics and BBQ (provided by the Council). The gardens are Chinese inspired. The pagoda, which has a lovely view over the water, has recently been renovated, the perfect place for quiet contemplation. A path winds around the lake with viewing areas at different intervals. The pathway is lined by rocks and attractive plants. Autumn colours dominate at this time of year. The waterfall and water wheel provide relaxing water music. Ducks, wading birds and swans paddle on the lakes. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Beautiful any...

Recently went there over the Easter break and can definitely say this is a must stop point if going through Young. Beautiful grass area's with tables and BBQ's for picnic lunches with toilets located on site at the carpark. Kids can play on the grass area's, go fishing or feed the ducks and swans. The Tribute Garden itself is beautiful. Nice big pond in the middle with small waterfall and rock feature's + the Bronze Horse in the middle. Following the track around you have a beautiful area to sit and take photos, and information to read. The grounds a well maintained. The whole family...

It's a beautiful place now with history behind it. Google ask stupid questions. So it is a nice place to go & chill there are BBQ's there that are clean most of the time unless a grubby person has been there & not cleaned them. Just be aware there are heaps of ducks swns & other birds that like a BBQ too a new toilet block has been put in thats is well maintained & a disabled dunny as well. I haven't been over to the Chinese garden for a long time but it was very nice. Not sure if you can still fish there but the place was full of all size carp/Coi. So grab you some bangers & go have...

This is a gorgeous location with public toilets, plenty of parking, some picnic tables and lots of grass to lay out your picnic rug. The garden is across the bridge and is a lovely oasis of birds, a temple, rose bushes, natives, a waterfall, water lilies', quiet little spots to sit and contemplate the reflective pool. There are microbats living in the trees and lots of photographic opportunities. Its not far from Young, definitely put this on your list of places to visit!
