My wife and I were at the opening of this avenue of honour for the Men ,working dogs, women whom went to Afghanistan. Beautiful day and the Parklike atmosphere is sombre and real. This is the first ave of honour in Australia and the Gov. General And prime minster ,along with the special forces and band.Will forever stay in my mind and all else whom attended a beautiful ceremony for those who gave their all, Collectively. All the Dead have names on one memorial And lots of interesting information. The walk itself is quite long and lined with flowering trees. And more good information . Each and every plarc, tree, stone, path direction and statue all have a significant place and story in relation to the men and women it serves in their memory who served in Afghanistan The community also have a special place for the fallen animals who were also in service with the men and women. I felt the place brought so much love, emotion and respect for each and every person in memory here.
