A hidden Gem! Why? Because it's not as famous as the other lakes in the Salzkemmergut like Gosausee, Fuschlsee or Königsee (this one close in Germany), but it's absolutely stunning! Be careful, there's a paid parking lot (and not free contrary to what has been written in other reviews), but you don't pay at the entrance, but at the exit (the car number is identified by cameras). When we got there by noon, it was full so be ready to wait for a space, but it was worth it. You can swim if the weather permits or walk around the lake.
