This is not a zoo, it's a wildlife park with free car parking - one that gives it's animal guests a protected but natural life in their familiar habitat. Each type of animal (30+) has extensive space sprawling up this mountainside into the rocky wilds above, and if you care to stroll through the carefully landscaped pathways you will not only enjoy the streams, hillsides and mountain views, but see the animals from a close distance; you can even walk right through the large hillside reserved for deer and mountain goats (keeping carefully to the pathway, and not feeding the animals), and sit on the well placed benches as they wander around you. If you have children, or like me are a child at heart, then entering into the baby goat petting area will be a highlight of your day! The local produce, food & drinks are also reasonably priced and facilities such as toilets are clean; this is an ideal attraction for families with small children, and will afford them as close an experience to the animals as a working farm, and has a small playground and other exhibits to keep them occupied - no problem bringing your own food to the bench eating areas. Whilst an assistant could help a wheelchair user around the mainly traversable pathways, some sections are steep and more "off road" than pathways down in the valley so expect some additional effort for wheelchair users. Even if you can only spare 1-2 hours, I hope you'll have as memorable and uplifting...

Alpen Wildpark Feld am See is simply enchanting—a fantastic blend of nature, education, and family fun in a breathtaking Alpine setting. The sprawling 11 ha wildlife centre houses over 30 native and unique species—red and fallow deer, ibex, mouflon, wild boar, llamas, Highland cattle and more—all roaming in natural-style enclosures with stunning valley scenery. Kids love the huge adventure playground, dragon’s cave, Wild West saloon, and petting zoo full of friendly goats, rabbits, ponies and chickens—offering safe, sheer joy and discovery. Plus the Naturstadel museum includes the immersive, North America Experience, Africa Experience, Grizzly World, and Fish Museum—all accessible with the same ticket for unbeatable value and interest...
